OK, I hear what you say, how do you rate the dreambox 800 HD ???? Bearing in mind that I know nothing. My current set up is a Humax box fed from a static dish and receiving freesat :-(. Which is OK but mostly crap if I am honest.

Dm800 is a great box i had one myself, but my opionion is if your looking to spend that amount save a little longer and go for a VU+ Solo. You will not be dissapointed.

Do I need a motorised dish ????
Can I stay with the static dish and a dreambox, I am guessing not, but I don't know ???
You can stick with as static dish as many here do but you have no idea how much you are missing, or in your own words ( Which is OK but mostly crap if I am honest )
IK do have a feed from my router to the humax box :-) so I guess that'd be a good thing whichever box I settle on, and I can just about manage port forwarding (if I can recall the router passowrd, otherwise it'll be the reset button HAh a haah)....

Good luck with the next step when you decide on it.

You could load any image & find open ports on your box buy as long as you secure ports at your router you have nothing to worry about.

Thinking further you could also install oscam on the receiver with cccam 2.1.3 on the server and have your card show as local.

Here is the latest blade bm7000s 122p- 8-4-11 firmware with 9991 secret menu and also the latest streaming software.

update your channels via menu>settings>blade online to get your 7day epg working.

please note installing this firmware does NOT affect your existing lines settings if you have a line in cccam.

Mega-Update, with many new powerful functions:

1. 7 Day EPG: Box is now compatible with 7 Day/PVR EPG streams in Europe and Middle East.

2. FAV Group navigation: Now you can use << and >> in Channel List mode to change thru FAV Groups.

3. Blade Online - Now you can download channel files online, without using USB stick.

4. Timeshift Mode added - Select in MENU>UTILS>DISK MANAGER>Auto Timeshift.

BLADE STREAM
------------

Blade Stream is very powerful software that runs on any Windows PC which will allow a BM7000s to connect direcly to that PC and stream movies, or download firmware or channel data files directly.

The software does not need any install. It is available at Blade Media in the support pages.

1. Simply unzip Blade Stream folder to desktop (or your chosen location) and run BLADE Stream.exe

2. Windows Firewall will ask you to allow access - say YES.

3. Next, on Blade Stream, click '...' button to browse to your media and channel file (.CDF) folder and click OK. Blade Stream will now minimise to the taskbar and is now ready to stream.

4. On your Blade Receiver, press PLAY (or F1) on the remote and press YELLOW to ADD OR SELECT SOURCE. Press Blue button to ADD or CONNECT. Here you type the local IP address of the PC that you just put the Blade Stream software on, for example 192.168.1.3 etc.

Once you enter this and press OK you will see the directory list of your media folder. Now you can play any movie from your PC just by selecting it, or load any firmware or channel files in the list.

For streaming across the internet to a friend's receiver, do the following: When entering the new source (as above where you entered 192.168.1.3) you will put the external IP or URL of your friend's PC, eg. 93.12.145.76 or myfriend.dynalis.com etc.

Your friend must also forward port 2008 in his router to his PC that is running Blade Stream.

Now you can watch media files from your friend's PC across the internet. Note: You will both need fast stable internet for this function, if it is not fast and stable it may make problems with the stability of your receiver. The serving PC can only stream one movie at a time. If a new selection is made it wil stop the first one and start the new one

I think the best way round this would be to install oscam & cccam on the server and read with a smargo, the correct tring configs are in the oscam section.

Not 100% on this but think there is a plugin named permanent clock that will do what you want.

Do you mean your box is set to an internal static ip or that your isp gives you static ip?

No quick answer here mate, we need some more info to narrow it down.

When the server goes down is what status is your dns updater showing?

How many clientsare connected to your server?

How many hops are in use and what reshare level have you set for your peers?

Use notepad++ from HERE, its a much better tool to use.

Copy the boxkey from your old CCcam.cfg and add it to the new .cfg i attached.

Before changing the version of CCcam try using the attached CCcam.cfg file, it has all the settings you need for getting entitlements on your card.

5- choose the file u want to activate and click on the green button to activate it.

Yes just have a second cfg blocking the servers who do not clear it and switch when required.
