This little file will allow you to use your laptop to align your dish. please enable APACHE on your 800 using the settings menu.

1 ) Use DM800 remote and start satfinder (if you need manualy type in transponder settings from lyngsat.com)
2 ) Open web browser and enter dm800 ip to access webif
3 ) Press BoxControl
4 ) Press Screenshot (OSD)
5 ) Left click and chose property on screenshot of the OSD
6 ) Copy Adress URL
7 ) Open satfinder.html and search for

http://192.168.1.174/grab?format=jpg.../1247766146319

8 ) Replace the http url in step 7 with the one you did copy in step 6.
9 ) Save satfinder.html and transfer to a local webserver.
10) Now you can use your laptop to setup your sat dish.
11) Open Web browser, and enter url of local webserver for example

http://192.168.1.100/satfinder.html

Did you reboot after installation ?

Download it from your addons manager or install this plugin tunisiasat addons manager.

Make sure your firewall isnt blocking access.

If its the old blue card it wont open anything but fta, a disconnected white card will open channel 5.

I would guess that your sat.xml file needs updating, try loading one of the latest E1 channel lists, this will save you having to rescan again.

What you get is the freesat channels.

Look in the enigma2 channel list section, my personal favourite is catseye from HERE.
Use dreamset or dreamboxedit to remove the satellites you dont use.
You can also use the remote control to remove them, press menu when you have the satellite list on screen.

Not sure if this will help, sounds like it is sim1 T1 from your description.

Start with this telnet command :

Build-nfi-image.sh / average / usb 128 76

This creates a swapfile on usb to the value of 128mb and creates an image with bootloader ss76.
Modify the bootloader values to suit the backup you want to make.
