Clone images are installed by internet explorer/firefox normally the same as an original 800. Only if you were having problems should you need to use dreamup.
If you use a multiboot agent such as meoboot/barry allen installation is a combination of dcc and your multiboot plugin.

I would try using another image, remember this is a clone so the firmware on it will not be origininal. Pli is good but my own favourite and some others on here is the dream elite images by prz team. Just make sure the image you choose is compatabile with the sim that is in the box. The web interface on the 800 clone should perform just as well as your 500 so i would definatley look at changing it.

Filenaming bug in CCcam support fixed

OSCcam support added and tested

Satsearching's new Keybinding Menu in Settings!! Visible by default now, this has the facility to remap the Volume Keys!!
important: If you decide to remap these keys, you MUST first disable the existing Subservices Up and Subservices Down Keys, by assigning both of these to Key = None

... Then set up your Volume -/+ keys as you want them, and finally the Subservices keys. You'll be using the L/R keys either side of the [OK] button, and the L/R keys either side of the [0] button, as per your own preferences. Mega-thanks to Satsearching for his brilliant work on this!

Another tidy-up in the locals, where we've changed menue to menu and canal to channel and stuff like that.

Big thanks to LraiZer for testing and reporting back on all our foul-ups, which have all been rectified for this new release.

This image does not include any Cable support as cable is dead, but does fully support most of the normal Satellite requirements

On the origional blackhole image did you try this ,, Did you activate the CCcam from default cam to CCCam 2.2.1 ? Press blue button then left or right with the remote to select the cccam 2.2.1, press ok to activate.

Dm500 can be limited to as little as 25 peers depending on what plugins you are using or how tidy you keep the CCcam.cfg.
Your card can be overclocked using the smartcard clock frequency that will allow you to add more peers, but be careful with this as your card can burnout if you dont use the correct frequency..

Dm500 doesnt have that much ram which can limit the amount of peers you can add and the amount of plugins you can use. If you enjoy changing images then your server will be effected when you flash new images. User friendly and great box for the beginner.
Linux server can hold as many peers as you can add. Definately more stable as a server compared to DM500. For the more advanced user as setup and maintaining this server will require more technical knowledge compared to the dm500.
A combination of the two is what the satellite enthusiast would choose because the linux server gives you stability for your peers and frees up all the ram on your DM500 for playing around with differant images and plugins

We have a very active free exchange section here on the forum,, plenty of generous people will help you out.
Also there is the linuxsat-shares free server which is specifically there to help newbies until they get their own shares.
Did you get your server working ok ?

Did you activate the CCcam to default cam ? Press blue button then left or right with the remote to select the cccam 2.2.1, press ok to activate.
Here is a backup image that has the cams already installed but you will still have to activate the cam the way i just said above.
