The ITV player is built into the OE-Alliance OnDemand plugin and works great as was 4OD but due to changes made to how content is streamed via 4OD that plugin now no longer works and is likely not going to be fixed any time soon if ever, The same is true of the Demand 5 plugin due to DRM encryption being used on their servers.

we are currently developing something new for the OE-Alliance OnDemand plugin but that's still early days and i cant say any more at the moment.

yes i can watch one and watch another its when i set timmer and it switches from first recording to next it goes onto that channel too so have wait till the message times down then press back to what i was watching

Im not near a box to check but it sounds like you have it setup to zap and record rather than just record.

personally i'd avoid it as it's nothing but a Vu+ solo clone in a smaller shell, and it suffers badly from overheating issues. added to that none of the main E2 support teams will give you any kind of official support for images if and when things go wrong.

poor picture quality is almost always as a result of the user messing with settings he does not understand or using so called enhanced modes on the TV it self. all modern TV's come with nicely named modes for cinema, sports etc etc etc and in almost every case these modes are the problem as they are designed to make the TV stand out in the shop but in the home environment there useless.

The best thing you can do is to disable all custom modes on the TV and leave them off.

back on topic the picture quality here on my solo2 is top notch and always has been.

Were aware of the issue with sending logs rite now its best to upload them to WOS so thay andy gets them along with a brief description of how the crashes etc occurred.

The best way to get a complete set is to submit the service references for the missing channels along with any channel logo's you can get to the relevant author for them to add to their pack. This is what i did for the Australian picon packs as no one was making them otherwise.

you can get the channel logo's from here

    Code
    http://www.lyngsat-logo.com/tvcountry/uk.html

this usually happens as cccam starts before oscam. when you power cycle your box you have to restart oscam by the blue button to get it to start before cccam. there does not seem to be a way to delay the starting of cccam

I presume your talking about the softcam manager on VIX ?.

If so its coded so that cams start in the se order you initially started them.

    For example disable all cams.
Now enable Oscam then CCcam, from now on this will be the order by which your cams now start when the image reboots, also the softcam manager has a five second delay built in so it will wait five seconds between activating the first and second cam. ( I think its five seconds ).

Point taken, Is there any way for me to generate a detailed error log when these issues arise that would have usefull information about the bug?
For example would there have been a way to find out exactly what conflict was causing this to be displayed:

Activate Debug logs that should hopefully capture whats going on, once activated you will need to reboot the box.

be aware that if you set the logs save location to the HDD activating debug logs will prevent the HDD from sleeping as it is writing to the file all the time. I save mine to a mounted USB stick, this also means that they are not lost if the image goes tits up. you may also want to go through the logs generated and remove certain private info pertaining to your server if you wish to before submitting the logs.

last thing we are aware of a issue preventing users from submitting logs via the logs manager, this is a known bug and is being looked into.

On the contrary Mee®kat, I would be a big fan of ViX & I would prefer to see these issues sorted and ViX getting back on track.. I am aware that ViX was branched from pli but nobody can deny the effort that has been put in to make this image a real contender for best image out there.. I just want to see things get back on track TBH.

pheonix, I have deleted all the autotimers and pending recordings & this issue is gone. (But there were no recordings active or coming up within hours when the issue was present)
I regret not having more information on the issue but you were so dismissive of my original post that i couldn't be bothered.
I have seen this attitute "elsewhere" too and it is really just shooting yourself & the ViX team in the foot when on one hand you say "why not report the issue so it can be sorted" and on the other hand you say that you never have problems & everyone reporting problems are doing something wrong.. Most people "myself included" have only one agenda, getting problems & bugs sorted.. If you do not take that on board then there is really no point in anyone bringing bug related information forward..

If i was able to replicate your issues i would be the first one to say so and i would have also created a bug report for that but i'm unable to.

It's also all good and well reporting things here and i'm thankful of that but andy does not go to any other forums so unless people send him crash reports or post them in the ViX section on the WoS forum they can get overlooked. I'm not saying we ignore those posted else where as thats not the case, but it's hard enough to track down issues as it is without being expected to read all other forums in the hope of some one posting a bug.
