    Very simple.

Download the image of your choice and extract the vuplus folder copy this folder and all it's contents to the root of a formatted ( FAT32 ) USB stick.
place the USB stick into any of the USB ports on the receiver and power the receiver off by the power switch.
power the receiver back on and wait for the image to flash, when complete you will see instructions on the VFD on the receiver.

Now depending on the receiver you may need to press a button on the receiver to initiate the reflash ( Uno, Ultimo, Solo2 ) also for the solo and duo you may need to first update to the latest bootloader before flashing a image.

remember to backup all important files first such as cam configuration files etc.

It is working with ViX although the streams are a bit stuttery here and for some reason the bouquets generated are not displayed via the Graphical EPG but are shown fine in the single EPG.

If you reflash the receiver it will clear out the root contents for you, or you could try to see just why it has filled up so much for example.

do you have Picons loaded to the flash ? if so delete them.
do you have your EPG set to the flash ? if so delete this as EPG.dat files can grow huge in a very short time and easily fill the flash.

basically look for any thing out of the ordinary that would account for the low memory you currently have.

    Latest Stable Build

    OpenViX 3.0-
    653

Please be aware that the latest release available via the online update feeds is a unstable build, if you wish to use Build 653 you will need to flash it directly to the receiver.

I have tried every image on the UNO ,
the only complaint about BH would be lack of space on flash,(hence greenscreens, etc)
that´s why they introduced UNIVERSE so you use original image in flash then add a usb or hdd to live in avalon ,for example.
or with MEOBOOT installed to add as many images as you like( including vix, vti ,open pli ,etc)
this then in turn gives as much space as you will probably ever need for all the plugins you ever want to try out..
To date meoboot is not compatible with vix..

Dont get me wrong i'm not dismissing BH, i rather like BH and use it on my Duo LE but my Uno is one of the original demo models Vu sent out a good 6 months before release for general sale. my complaint is that this receiver simply wont boot with any BH 2.x.x image upwards at all. and yes your correct we have never offered support for multiboot platforms within the ViX image.

best motor technomate tm-2600 will turn most dishes works great for me best budget dish id say triax 1.1 works great for me best lnb id say inverto ultra black bit more but well worth it i get every satellite with this setup some of 7e some of 26e only but all the rest very well 5e is at 60-70% but you can still watch it as low as 45% , and youll need and 18inch t&k bracket £160 the lot well made investment and thats for edinburgh lower down youll do better

tm2600 is one hell of a motor ,,,a 1 meter dish is sufficient,,,,,black ultra lnb,,,,,,,,plenty of choice out there....

yup totally agree, the TM2600 is a cracking motor and it wont break the bank either.

as for the best satellites, well it's been a while so not sure but 30 west used to carry a lot of english and american channels and shows, in fact at one point my dish was permanently parked there for well over 2 years.

So if i understand this correctly your problem is when you record a satellite channel you cant when watch another satellite channel via the B tuner which is looped from tuner A ?.

if this is correct then it's likely because your using a loop through rather than both satellite tuners having their own feeds, when you loop from one tuner to another it allows a very limited amount of recording / viewing options as tuner B can only receiver channels on the same transponder or quadrant as tuner A. if you want to watch or record channels from different transponders you must have both tuners hooked up to their own feeds from the LNB.
