    if the receiver is 18 months old it's a original as the clones were not released that long ago. as for your problem it's likely as a result of the box failing mid way through the image flash, you could try loading a 2.6.18 kernel image via a null modem cable ( the image will have to be dated before November 2011 and in a .nfi format ). Although i suspect you may have a lost cause on your hands if it did indeed fail during the flashing proccess.

    yup confirmed although i'm not sure if this is a permanent move to FTA or just a temporary one.

    which channels ? and have you made sure the auto reload settings E2 option was ticked in DBE or did you manually press the reload button after sending the bouquets ?.


    I also would just like to take the time to thank Mr. Mister for these bouquets, i would also like to thank B16MCC as without his original bouquets that mirrored the $ky uk channel numbering no similar packs would exist by any one.

    I can understand your curiosity but there is really no need for you to explore those files as they are used by other programs CrossEPG / Rytek etc to populate the EPG, there may be a way to open them on a PC but i am not aware of one.

    hmm yes and no. cootlvguide is just a GUI or graphical user interface ( basically a pretty skin ) it still needs a EPG program such as CrossEPG to read the epg.dat files.

    It's been moved to the second infobar mate click ok when the first infobar is open. it has been moved as to be frank there was way too much info in the first infobar than was needed. and no there is no way to pull it back to the first infobar sorry.

    sorry i did not get to this earlier but yes your correct, Its the update icon telling you there are software updates for your image.


    Blue button> ViX> software update.


    Green for stable updates.
    red for unstable updates ( if you have the option to use unstable updates enabled which is off by default ).
