I have a solo 4k and use the kodi plugin. On a few of the addons there are sections for 4k movies, but I can't get any to play. Is there a way to get them to play? Thanks

checked pids on vlc player streamed webif, can hear audio spot on, but shows at a52 ,, not ac3,, so stream name, is not being seen by any codec as ac3 was, now virgin has changed the name if certain boxs didnt take the update on originals then they would also have this issue, its just a simple issue, so i have changed audio codec file. to pick a52 im going to test now and if it works il get back to you.

I've tried another to that transcodes from my main boo using a raspberry pi. The channels that didn't have any sound work fine and I haven't updated anything.

Not 100% sure what it means but it says audio stream: fl, fr, fc, lfe, sl, Sr. Ac3 32bits 48000

So still showing ac3. Not sure if that's any use. But thought I'd let you know they are working without any changes on a different box.

Not sure if it is true or not. But I've just read that you have to use oscam after updating the config file. When I go to Menu/setup/service searching. I can't see the AB maker. I've got the plugin installed. But can't see the option to update. Can I update it any other way or get to it another way? When I go to the plugin, it just brings up the areas

I'm not in Leicester and SSHD is clearing. But some of my HD channels have started not having any sound and some have only got the sound with the extra description. I've pressed the audio button to see what audio options are there. Usually there is the normal one and the descriptive option. But on the ones with no sound there's no options to select under audio and some only have the audio description.

I've tried to do a fresh scan and still getting the same issue. Anyone else had this or know how to fix it?

Thanks for your reply. I didn't really want to have 2 dishes. I did see that they were on sale on fleabay. Think I might speak to them see what they say. Thanks for your help

I Have a motorised dish and I am thinking of getting a sky Q sub as I get an offer through work. I have read that they can install a hybrid lnb instead of a standard one. Which has 6 connections instead of the usual 2, if you have a freesat or something similar.

Is it possible to fit the hybrid lnb on my sat, so that one of the standard connections still powers the motor to receive other satellites?

A lot of programs you can change back to the original language. So there's quite a lot. Not sure

if you'd need to move your dish. I'd presume so unless you can add another lnb to your current dish.

It's started working. Very strange

I'm trying to setup open vpn. But I've had no success. I've tried for about a week. I've looked at loads of different guides. But can't seem to crack it.

I recently put open atv onto my solo 4k. I have always used blackhole and then openblackhole. But fancied a change and likes the skin on openatv.

But on the openblack hole. When i put the tv in stand by the box went into stant by to and when it was off, if I powered up the box, the tv would switch on to. I've had a look at the hdmi cec and that seems to be on. But it still doesn't work. Anybody got any ideas?

I've just had exactly the same thing. I've re-flashed my box and still getting the same.

I think I might just have to do that, I've got a Raspberry Pi that it works fine on a different tv. Is easier than changing all the settings if I install a new image. The Kodi has always worked fine on the Solo 4k. I just don't install a build and just install the addons I use as it just causes the box to freeze when you close kodi down.

I have an older version of this backup by Master G. I have tweeked a few things, so I don't want to do a fresh install. A lot of the addons have stopped working on kodi. So I wanted to update the image. If I updgrad the image will it clear all my settings? Also, when I try to do an online update, it says there is nothing available? Anyone have any ideas? I'm happy with the image I have. I just want the addons to work on kodi as mine is only 16 not 16.1. I'm not even sure if that would fix the issue. Any help appreciated

But it's probably easier and quicker to jailbreak it and install it

had exactly the same issue, with it getting stuck on the boot screen.

Used the Master G back up and just changed the skin. Worked a treat and was a lot easier. So thank Master G

I''m currently using the solo 4k on black hole. I have everything working and I've got the Glass hd skin how I like it after months of tinkering with it. I want to change the image to the openblack hole as it has a newer version of kodi on it.

Is it possible to do a back up of all my settings ie. cams, skins and then when I have changes the image restore the settings?

I'm using Black hole image in my solo 4k. I use xbmc launcher, but a lot of the addons don't work. The version of kodi is 13.2 that is running. Is it possible to update to a newer version of kodi to run on the xbmc launcher? Thanks

I recently changed my skin to the HD Glass. Since I've done that, the lcd picons have stopped working. All I get is a really small channel name and time in the top left corner. I've installed lcd4linus and set it up correctly as far as I can tell, via my browser. As when I got to the addon in the menu, the picon shows. But I can't get it to show on the lcd screen.

Anyone got any ideas?
