    My cable line is a n-line. God knows. At least I've got one that works now. I have noticed tho that now it's a cccam that's converted it freezes more. Is that down to the server or are nlines more stable? And thank you to yourself and master G. Much appreciated as always.

    I've tried removing the cable reader. Still nothing. I am starting to wonder if it is the line or now. But it does say it works when i put it into the testious website.

    I've tried a different line. and works fine. This one was a c-line I converted not a n-line. So not sure if it is something to do with how I was converting the n-line or the line is down.

  • Help with Vu+ Solo 4K Tuner set up

    you can find it by searching the forum. Or if you have got the linuxsat support addon. It's the 11196 arm version.


    You can download it from there. You wouldn't need a usb c-tuner. You can get a plug and play tuner. So no need for a usb one. You can have up to 4 tuners on the solo 4k. Mine has 2sat and one cable. I'm sure you can buy the tuners separate, if you wanted to.

    It's still not connecting. It says unknown in the status and in the SRVID:CAID@PROVID it's just got 0000:0000@000000. Where the other line has the service id in there.

    Thanks for your reply. I've checked the web connection and it says error. But I've tested in in the testious website and it says it's active. I think it has t be I'm not converting it right. But I've tried everything. I've tried everything I can think of/ I've tried converting it using 2 different converters. I've tried to use it copying the working one and just swapping the log in details. But nothing.

    I've had my box working perfectly for about 3 months. I've had my cable line and sat working for a while after initially having a few issues getting it working. I've was messing around with the oscam and deleted my line. I've tried to add it back in by converting it again from a nline. But I can't for the life of me get it to work. The cable one works fine. But I've been trying for days to get the sat one to work. But to no avail. I've not changed the settings in any other file. I've jut tried to re-add the line. Anybody got any ideas?

  • missing cable channels

    Sound like a bit too much trouble to me. Think I can manage with just the standard channel. I have a openbox a few years ago and had to have something connected to the ariel as it didn't pick some of the channels up. Something to do with polarisation or something. Is it something like that?

  • missing cable channels

    After probably a month of messing around and changing things. I've finally got a setup how I like with pretty much everything working. The only thing that I can't seem to figure out is.. When I do a scan on the cable tuner I find loads of channels and most work fine. But there are some that when I look at the channel list are greyed out eg. History HD even tho H2 HD works fine. Is there any reason for this and is there a way to fix it?


    Any advice appreciated.

  • using oscam for Sat and cable

    I've recently upgraded my box to a solo 4k. I had a solo2 previously and always used cccam.


    The solo4k isn't compatible with cccam so I had to convert the lines to oscam. I finally got that working with a multi sat, but I'm having difficulty getting it to connect to cable. I'm not sure if I'm a setting missing or something as when I take the sat line out os the .server file and just have the cable one in it works fine but when I add the sat one the sat one doesn't work and if the sat one is in on it's own it works fine. I'm sure it's something simple. But I'm pretty clueless with oscam

    I'm new to oscam. I managed to convert my cline to oscam and get it working. But only 28.2 seems to be clearing. The other sats don't seem to clear. Also I'm trying to setup the dvb-c tuner for cable. But that doesn't seem to work either. Am I missing something? I've looked at all different threads and can't seem to find the answer. I'm using a Vu solo4k with Black hole, if that makes any difference.

  • Solo 4k setup questions

    I used the converter to convert the c-line to the oscam.server and then I downloaded a couple of files a config file and another one from this site. I'm not at home at the moment, so I can't tell you the exact name. but I just pasted those files into the tuxbox/config folder and then it worked. I tried for hours to try to get it working. But I was only pasting the oscam.server file. so I think by added the other 2 files fixed it. I may be wrong. But that seems to fix it.

  • Solo 4k setup questions

    I've recently upgraded my solo2 to a solo 4k blackhole. After hours of trying to get my c-line to a Oscam, I finally got it working.


    I have a few questions that I can't seem to find the answers for. Any help would be appreciated.


    After installing my channel list. I have a few channels that don't seem to be working. The few I've seen without going through all of the, are: itv1hd, Dave, watch and gold. There maybe more but they are just ones I saw straight away. Am I doing something wrong?


    Is it possible to get mymetrix skin? I have seen elsewhere that somebody has a backup image and it has the my metric skin on. So I presume it is. But not sure if it is a specific download. As I usually download it from either the blackhole skins or the linuxsat add on.


    And finally. I have a dvb-c tuner. I have seen on different threads I have to input my location. I can't see a place to do that, but I can select the provider. It seems to find the channels ok, so that doesn't seem too much of an issue. I've installed a cable auto bouquets maker but non of the cable channels I've searched appear in the bouquets am I doing something wrong? And I had to convert an n-line for the cable. That doesn't appear to be working. I have just put it in the same Oscam. Server file as my other lines. Is that correct?


    Any help or guidance appreciated.

    strange can't seem to get it to clear on mine at all... may have to make do with a foreign channel. i think by that time the commentary wont make that much difference to me anyway. just a bit annoying that i can't get it to work.

    Can anyone get the box office channels to work? i'm using the slyspboxoff channel. it shows in the epg, but no channel clearing as the previews should be on now.
    i'm using catseye channel list from this month. so should be all up to date. and the frequencies match the ones listed

    thanks for your reply. i used usals and I've got the cateyes channel list. i do get signal signal but the channels dont seem to clear. on some channels it says the snr is 99% which is better that i get on uk channels for some strange reason
