I don't know if this would work but could you connect it to your phone and use it as a personal hotspot, don't know if you can do this on android you can on Apple, I've never connected to a box though

i dont think £80 is over expensive, being self employed my self, everyone thinks vans run, service,tax themselves then theres other running costs, then theres tax on the 80 quid and materials, anybody wants to make at least 50 quid for coming out, alternative is borrow some ladders and buy a cheap sat finder you have to decide if its worth the hassle or not, i was on the brink of phoning someone to do my dish but with the advice i got on this site i persivered and sorted it, but you have to decide that for yourself

If you've spent all that money on a solo2 you want to utilise that and read up on sharing yourself. Plenty of info and help on here as I've found out myself

I did set up some DNS addresses on your good advice steve and all the other advice you gave me as been spot on. I think because it's all new to me I just want to mess lol.
That site you didn't mention I didn't get him from there (nobody there thought I was worthy of sharing with them ) lol so I copped for him off an equally as bad site.

if both tuners are set the same to 28.e then it should work, your on a very old image vix are on around 107 i think, might be worth updating, dont know if you can access the vix feeds with an image that old though.

you have to have both tuners set to this

these settings work for me on my solo2 appollo 100

yes steve groups 1,2 thats all hes getting, on the log its like hes asking for a different channel every second, so if hes got 50 peers would i get requests from them as well as ive got reshare set to 1

is there a way you can tell if you have a payserver for a peer, i,m using oscam, stevejo kindly set me a service script so that only my 2 locals would share to certain peers and not my reshares, when watching the live log theres one peer thats requesting different channels which i,m not sharing with him every few seconds which are getting rejected, would this be a ps or could it be just a peer with a lot of shares, is it impossible to tell?

menu/plugins press green button go to softcams and select which cam you want

splash the cash and get an original pal, ive had a few 800se but bought a vu solo 2 original and never looked back, or you can get a Vu solo or duo for good prices, new or seccy hand and if your handy using the dreambox youl have no problem with a Vu, and if you did theres plenty of help on this forum

pop CCcam both files into /var/bim/emu.the cam its self inside the bin file select blue > extras menu > softcam menu, from there you can start the cam

( needs to be named "CCcam" )

ccam cfg goes in var/etc

connect the wire from your receiver to the sat meter and connect the meter with another wire to the lnb, depends on which meter you bought to how it works, if its a cheap audible one move the dish around and the signal gets higher, when it gets really high pitched turn the meter down a bit and then move the dish until it high again, when you cannot get the pitch to go any higher you should have a pretty good signal, i,m new to it and i managed to line it up pretty easy
you should have got some instruction with the sat meter,you might have to have a read pal for it to work correctly as i can only say how mine worked
