All is same as on a DM900/920 or even a DM7020HD (Tools such as DreamBoxEdit, DreamSet, DCC, Putty, Telnet, FTP can be used). DreamUp is only for older boxes to flash the firmware. On the DreamOne/Two you flash it as on DM7020HD via the webinterface (IP of the box once set to Flashing mode).

The issue is mostly related to the image you installed, was it the same as on your DM7020HD ? Probably the best is to install the same image you were used to use on your DM7020HD, and then you will see that all will work smoothly then.

You just need to install the DUO2 box normally. Transferring configuration settings has nothing to do with channel editors. My advice is to ignore the posts about Dreamset, Dreamboxedit, e-chanenlizer for the purpose of transferring your satellite motor configuration. It is irrelevant and unhelpful to your specific issue. The advice about channel editors is useful for copying/editing/transferring bouquets/channels.

In enigma2, there are different contexts of "settings". One interpretation is channel lists/bouquets. I suspect that this is what the other responses refer to. They will do bouquets/channels, but they will not save your configurations. With all due respect, their responses will not fulfill your requirements. The file called "settings" which holds the values you need is not touched by channel editors. You can test the suggestions if you want.

Or issue this command using Putty which will create a file for you with only the tuner values.

I have few of them (OMITRON, PACE, etc), as well as one that was modified and capable to log everything from the feeds, also some old C+ I think that were D2MAC boxes (like the Nagra Discret).

Flash latest NewNigma2 image, and reboot the box, I generally do that way, as that image flashes the last microcode (I believe) into the tuners, then use only recent images which have the latest drivers, using older drivers could get you loosing the tuner as you have.
