You will also have to copy the folder if you have oscam in /etc/tuxbox/config
For the plugins/adaptations, partitions, this is something unique for each image.

I have re-install openpli and couldn't use remote control (RC20 model) and i use openwebif to control the dreamone , something is messing
thanks for your efforts
So you talk about the BT Remote control, if I am not wrong, we didn't had time and have the BT RC to do the job.

Ok, the install the openpli 9.x, the original one,

Hi i have a dreambox 8000hd , do you think is still a good box?
Absolutely, you have DM8000HD images from OpenATV and OpenPLi, that works wonderfully with Streaming, Sate, Terrestrial, it has also Wifi built-in, and many other things you can add, HDD, DVD/CD Drive, Memory SD, USB etc... Dual Sat Tuner + 2 slots, CI+ compatibility...
Which Sim do you have on that box ? Ferrari or Original ?
TS
i have dreamone and install openpli many times but once i flash the image Remote Control no response (IR not BT)
openatv is working perfectlly but openpli encounter RC problem, there is any way to overcome this problem
Are you sure ? As I use my RC IR and it works fine, the BT I don't have one, so I cannot test, I don't use Multiboot, I flash directly into flash... FYI.

Not much will happen anymore, the forum can only be used as an info archive, I think it's good that it was taken online so that not everything is lost, who should give you any sensible info if there is none left, just live with it as it is now.
Let's see how it goes, less actors there is, less choice there will be for all of us... so just let's hope it will be a real new start and all what was built doesn't finishes in ashes.
TS
I have just downloaded the IPK for that plugin. Unfortunately most of it is compiled into .so files. So I cannot see where the error is in those files.
I was just going to repackaged it for you. But I cant do that now.
Typical, the guy built his italysat compiling python files into .so executables as he is paranoiac, and has a very strange behavior... I would definitely not give him any trust... you don't know what could be on these files... and if he doesn't steal your credentials (oscam ? or box access like login/user/password ) for example from your box...
TS
Copy from that image the satellites.xml file, I don't see any other reason as his images are open based (he uses their code from OpenPLi and OpenATV)
TS
Display MoreDisplay MoreThe image is fast while browsing menus and TV channels, but unfortunately it does not search for channels with DVB-S2, only DVB-S
No, works with DVB-S2 as well, I watch 0.8, 13, 19.2, 23.5 and 28.2 with it and DM525HD/DM520HD... as well as Terrestrial (T and T2).
So be sure you don't overwrite the satellites.xml files, etc... probably you load your own channelist, that is corrupted.
TS
I don't know exactly where the error is, but my channel file and satellites.xml work well with DVB-S2 with DreamOS image, but not with OpenPLI and OpenATV image either.
Problem is then in your side, your channel settings, or installation (wrong configurations etc)... as all this works smoothly on OpenATV, and OpenPLi, etc.

Which image are you using ? (Open images have 1.1.1)

Display MoreFor a big dish install from the ground up. Literally. A pole of correct diameter and length will need to be cemented in the ground below the frost line.
It will need to be plumb all the way around and allowed to set until the concrete mix has cured.
Might as well go and get a digital protractor, angle gauge. You'll definitely need that. One that resolves to at least 0.1 degree.
I have a Klein Tools digital gauge from Home Depot. Others like it can be found on eBay.
A clear view of the Southern sky. A phone app that allows you to view the sky and see the locations of the satellites in the Clarke belt.
A site in the US that you should visit is sateliteguys.us. Great bunch of fellows and tons of installation and setup threads there.
For satellite content and updated changes tvrosat.com is a good place. A bit more updated for here than Lyngsat.
Never mention anything except FTA reception in those places.
That info should get you in the right direction for planning.
I am perhaps wrong, but it looks like that the Dish is already installed, or I missed something ? Probably and hopefully all is in good shape, and it's more a reception gathering now informations, which satellites and what could be the best, that is missing for this guy, no ? Le Lyngsat link is very good, some experience from you about which satellites and which channels can be watched on them that are interested, could perhaps help him.
TS
Nope, works fine, it's not DMM image so the "check fails"... reboot and you will see that all is working smoothly, I have it installed on my 3 x DM525HD Combo and 2 x DM520HD Sat... perfectly working. This warning concerns only DMM like image, and Open images are not DMM format/size.
