You've not said which receiver you are using. For a mipsel receiver, B should be 06

The OE-A images will have it on the plugin server. Just install from there.

You don't compile "from X to Y". You compile for X, you compile for Y, you compile for Z
Image is not the issue, it CPU architecture. There are three types, Arm, mipsel and SH4 and should work on whatever image you want.

If there are no other changes, why don't you just download the arm ipk, extract it using 7zip. The reader will be there for you.

You are not going to get this to run on a PLI 2.1 image. The receiver bearly has 2 MB of space left over on a new install.

sorted it i had 28e also running through my switch for when i wanted to record and watch another channel, i have deleted this and its now working
Are you not able to connect a 28.2 signal wire to the diseqc switch?

I have a HD receiver on old firmware, prior to hd pairing. Just in case someone wanted to dump it and compare the the differences.
