Coventional (service reference) picons take precedence over SNPicons. I would discourage removal of it.

the softcam manager in openvix routinely checks if the selected softcam has stopped. if it has, it restarts it. if you access the extension menu (blue button) while a check is in progress, you will see the check the status.

Channel data and bouquet data are two different things. Are they doing both or just one?

I see reference to SNPicons in that thread. Hopefully they can make uses of these commits.

Some picon packs are 200MB in size.

internal flash memory is fastest location for picons. That is fine provided you do not have large packs.

without debug logs, it is going to be a problem pinpointing the issue.

The previous command to check for updates I posted was wrong. Correct one is

opkg update && opkg list-upgradable

With regards to picon folder, create one on the usb drive. it must be called "picon", not "Picon" or "picons"

Are self updates enabled on tsmedia?

It is a regular issues with mgcamd users. I wish all the people who upload these configs disable the logging option by default

Cross EPG downloader cannot download EPG for cable from the signal wire. It downloads from the internet.

That data is the same whether you use Cross EPG or EPG/XMLTV Importer.

Any errors should be reported to Doglover on PLI. He needs the channel name and service reference for channels with no/wrong EPG.
