In what way does it not work?
What version are you using?
What are the settings you are using?

One folder is Conventional picons (SRPs), the other is ServiceNamed Picons SNPs.
If you use the SRPS, you will have to keep up with the changes as and when they occur.
If you use the SNPs, you won't have to worry about the changes to service refernces. Just new channels and any name changes. If you sue CoolTV guide, it has yet to be adapted to use SNPs.

sorry prob being a bit thick here but once downloaded where do i put these
"picon" folder on root( i.e not within another folder) of internal flash memory or any attached storage device. Physical HDD has to spin up unless on constantly for PTS. -
Glad you are sorted.
Another reason satellites disappear is saying yes when asked about removing satellites that are no longer configured. this happens when you change the tuner configuration. -

/etc/tuxbox/
and
/usr/share

Best you check the contents of the xml file in your receiver. If you find that it only has 28.2, replace it with this one.
-
You have probably transferred a sattelites.xml file that only has 28.2 included. If this is the case, your sytem won't work for other satellites until you replace it.
The satellites.xml is not used for tuning. There is no need for people to include it in their channel list. If they do, they should include an updated multisat one.
-
An alternative is to manually select your satellites.

I hope one of the graphics experts can batch resize them for you. 100x60 is a regular size, so would be good to have them in that size too.
-
The ones uploaded are 88x52. You will have to resize them and update them.
May I ask whey that size is important? Surely if yuo use teh 220 size, your image/skin will resize them to fit?

You get thermal glue too.
-
Select the one you want. After that, in teh bottom right, you will see "per iniziare il download". I think it means click here to download. If that's not what it means, that's what it does.
I used to upload the channel lists on another forums, I stopped doing so becasue it deprives him of advertising revenue.

You can use 7zip to extract ipk files.
Forgot to mention, if you use sort 3 on the 24/06/2015 version, bouquet contents will be very similar to Rat's bouquets.

Reader file for SH4 receivers is included. It will need to be renamed if you have an SH4 receiver.
Code2015-06-24 Supplement and swap file changes owing to official reshuflle and some HD channels being viewable. Default service changed again. Swap defaulted to off. Can then import PaphosAl's sort files without worrying about clashes. We have HD first as default anyway. Also avoids issues of swapping to chanenls that have moved owing to LCN changes Sort_3 file changed. -
The tuner config should depict what is connected to it.
If the cable to a tuner controls the motor, it has to be the motorised options.
If the cable to the tuners are connected to the same LNB as the the one on the motorised dish, but cannot conrol the motor because they go direct to the LNB, they must be configured as "2nd cable of motorsied LNB". Even for a third tuner, ignore the "2nd", receiver just needs to know that it is on the motor but can't move it. That way receiver knows that wherever the motor is pointed at is what these tuners can use.If you use "same as/equal to" receiver will think that it is the same/equal. i.e a motor that it can control. These are wrong.
Maybe this picture helps
http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=83576&p=271738&viewfull=1#post271738As extar information
There are peopple with two motorsied dishes connected to one receiver, ths is why you get an option chose which tuner they are the 2nd cable of. So if one motor was pointing at 0.8w and another was pointing at 28,2e, receiver can know where it is pointing.
