You already have the backup. Waste of time redoing process as you have already FTPed the file. I was just pointing out what you caould have done.
What to do now.
Option 1: Restore using Image Manger. YOu have to tell image manegr to us eteh USB stick. To do this press menu.
OPtion 2. Extract the backup folder and flash by USB.
If you are going to flash by USB, you have to extract the folder.
In mage Manager, if you press menu, you can choose location to use. It is probably using deafult one instead of USB. You can alos choose where to backup if you do not want to FTP.
Please try this one, sorry I don't have a Vu.
P.S when trialling files, I normally add a .bak to old file so that if there is an issue, I can revert.

Please check whether you have a force.update file created during backup process.
What is the folder structure/content when you create a backup? (After the pyo was transferred).

The plugin does not touch anything in your tuner configuration. Replace your satellites.xml. Satfinder plugin has had changes made to it. So dont expect it to be the same on all images.
Can you backup your image and upload it.
Chanenls being greyed out usually mean that the tuner is not available.
Please try latest version which is Nov 2014. If it does not work and if the image is on this forum, please post a link so I can try it.
Which version of teh plugin atre you using. Blue button will show you the version date.
What is your tuner configuration? In real life as well as software wise.

Latest version is November 2014. Some minor file updates although last core stuff by Lraizer was in September 2014.

You may be using incorrect bootloader.
OP is using OpenVix. With all due respect, your advice is not suitable to him as font size is configurable on image being used by him.
Having re-read the post, I was mistaken. OP mentioned channel list, not EPG. Font size is also configurable in the channel selection menu.
You can change the font size in the EPG menu.
Menu > Setup >System > EPG > (Choose EPG screen type) > Event font size
Are you using any other bouquet packs? What are your AB 28.2 settings?
ABM should also work fine if you are using an OE-Alliance image such Openvix. Also works fine on OpenPLI. A couple of guys with Gigablues in ex-CW areas had issues with ABM, so may not work.
ofc9 is the HD version.
Consider repeating the steps sugested to you in post 9 and not altering mount points.
I suspect you are remounting because the USB stick being the first device is being mounted as "HDD". And people say not to use a HDD for picons? If so, that is used to describe a physical HDD, not a mountpoint called HDD If you insist on remounting, can you post instructions on exactluy what you are doing so that we can repeat and offer solutions/learn too.
