Did you do anything differntly to instructions above? You have mentioned mounting USB. This is an action that was not mentioned and should be automatically done.
Are you changing the mount points?

cazuela, that command should find all folders called picon
root@tmnano3t:~#
root@tmnano3t:~# find / -name picon
/usr/share/enigma2/picon
/usr/share/picon
/media/usb/picon
/media/hdd/picon
/picon
root@tmnano3t:~#
daveyboy,
Shut down receiver by remote
Connect USB flash drive to PC,
Transfer picons
Connect USB stick back to receiver
Start receiver. It will mount automatically and show the picons.
no good :(
Sorry, should have said. Post results here. They will show you mounts and seach for picon folders.
How many wires from the LNB have you got?
Can you post the settings you are using so that we do not assume.
Sorry. You said openTV EPG does not download. Is that fine now?
Dealing with two issues simultaneoulsy does not help you. Nor is it a good idea to use two epg sources for one provider. If you are going to se web based epg data (rytek), do not use satellite based one. I know some peopel like Rytek's one as it has a bit more detail.
OpenTV is on the satellite. Are you sure you do not have any signal/reception issues?
Where were the picons before you mounted the USB stick?
What is the folder structure of the picons on the USB stick?
Do you have any other picon folders on the receiver?
Script to rename the picons. Thanks to Huevos and McQuaim.
Although the names of the channels are the same, they are different and do not all broadcast on the same frequency/transponder. You may note that they have differnt EPG IDs.
AB 28.2 and ABM will obtain the channel data but will not improve reception. If there is an issue with your dish alignment, lnb or cabling, you will have to fault find. Best to perform a conventional scan. If you get less than 950 chanenls, there is a hardware problem (subject to your satellites.xml being up to date).
If the channels are greyed, they are unavailable. This could be because tuners are occupied. E.g an active recording/streaming
If you were using Ocram's set, they have symlinks in them, so they have to be made solid files first. This does not apply to you.
You dont need to get rid of your existing picons, AB 28.2 will rename them at initial stage and then maintain them so you do not have to worry about updating the service references. They must be correct/complete at time of running the plugin.
The AutoPicon feature has worked since it was introduced to the plugin in 2013. It won't read through symlinked ones when converting them at initial stage.
Which picons are you using?
Are you using any other bouquet packs?
What version of the plugin are you using?
Which PLI image?
What region are you using?
HD or SD
Which sort option are you using?
You can grab screenshots with most phone apps for Enigma2 receivers too.
Is the issue "incorrect flag" or "viewing"?
Check another image to rule out image. Flash back after checking.
Any overriding by the plugin is done by the supplement file which is located in the plugin directory. /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/AutoBouquets
Looking at the Nov 2014 version, there is no entry for it. I don't recall rte one ever being listed in the supplement file though. The csv file shows it as being an NDS channel too. My TM 3T is showing it as NDS.
Which channel/s?
I hope you accept/understand that it does not matter which tuner obtained the bouquets/chanenl data. The data is shared. If you do not accept this, you will keep going around in circles and look in the wrong place.
For the sake of simplicity, disable the tuner with the motorised dish (we can re-enable later). Peform a manual scan using the fixed tuner (Do not use AB 28.2). How many chanenls do you receive?
