You have not answered the question I asked. Please read the first line of the picture you posted. It is telling you waht is missing, and hence the question asked to help you.

Post a screenshot of the contents of /etc/ folder please so we can see what you have.

You will need
CCcam.cfg (original with all your lines)
CCcam_0.cfg (exact copy of the original)
CCcam_1.cfg (only has first line)
CCcam_2.cfg (only has 2nd line)

Do you have a CCcam.cfg in /etc/

It is saying you haven't, that is why it has failed.

Which imange are you using? Dees it have a password?

Just run regedit and delete the Dreamset entry and reboot your PC.

Your options are:
Edit Registry yourself
Get someone to assist you using Teamviewer
User another account on PC

There is no other feasible solution if you still want to use Dreamset

This is from his site. Easier to use another account on your PC as this should start off afresh with new entries in registry.

The program does write in the windows registry all your configuration settings. That means you may delete the whole directory which Dreamset runs and install a new version without loosing your configuration.

Not referring to scans, but selection of satellite. This is the one setting we did differently to resolve Kenyan's issue.

Crossepg on Vix 808 works fine on twin tuners. Best to find why it isn't doing so for everyone.

Out of curiosity, when setting up the tuners, did people experiencing issues use "automatic" or manually select 28.2?

Linux receivers use Linux file systems, i.e. ext3 or ext 4.

Initialisation is alternate term to formatting.

Interrogate channel list with editor on PC and see if there are any entries for those satellites.

Double check user name and password are correct for image on receiver

ABM is AutoBouquetsMaker by the OE Alliance. It will not keep your customised bouquets up to date.

If the CCcam binary is on this forum, can you provide a link to it.

ABM does not allow such customisation.

AB by Lraizer will do that if you use the sort feature. You will have to edit the sort file. You cannot rename the bouquets at the moment so will have to pick the from existing ones.

Unless you are using custom sort, AB will place channel in exact position that the provider has decided. You don't have to do anything.

EPG data is not based on number of channel.

The reader version of autobouquets does not need a satellite.xml, just like the E2/E1 versions.

Team Commando recommend using Dreamup with a "flash erase" first then "flash" to install images. I always used the telnet method until I had issues using Lraizer's Gypsy backup. Alternatively, if already on a Commando image you can use a the image upgrade facility. (Not referring to online update).

Mgcamd does work. Perhaps people experiencing issues can elaborate with a few more details. Like which version they are using, contents of mg_cfg. Confirm that the required libcrypto file has been transferred and chmod 755?

Think of this as an upgrade to Commando 14.7 with Autobouquets better than the E2 version.
