    The last change to the Freeview provider file in ABM was 3 months ago, to deal with a change of frequencies in Darvel.

    ABM is not locking on the frequencies listed for your mast then. If you answer the following questions, it may help solve your issue. If you don't answer, then it is going to be impossible.


    1. Please show screenshots of both your Terrestrial tuner configuration. Not just the overview.


    2. Which mast is your aerial pointing to.


    3. Double check it is the one recommended for your postcode on the Freeview website.


    4. Which receiver is this?


    5. Provide clear screenshots of your ABM configuration main page as well as the Freeview provider options. Or better still, provide debug log.


    6. Please show screenshots of the scanning option you used in Enigma2 scanning. How many channels did you find?

    Someone else posted a terrestrial issue on another forum. Maybe you guys are in the same region and there is a local issue/change. Which mast are you receiving signal from? Show your tuner configuration please.


    So the bottom line is ABM is failing when you run Freeview.


    Leave ABM to one side for now. Try Terrestrial scan plugin, does it find channels?


    We need debug log.

    When you update to ViX 6.8 004 or any image built after 07/03/2026, please check your ABM setup as some previous options will no longer be available.

    The "Custom regions" have been removed from the provider files. You will have to set your area again.

    A new option to toggle the custom mode has been added to the Sky UK and ROI providers.
    The "Include non-indexed option" has also been moved to the Provider's menu.

    Updating provider files is not essential. It just updates any hacks/swaps and any tuning parameters in the file. The processing will be done by the plugin itself.


    For an updated plugin, just wait for an image update, the plugin will be updated too. You are not losing out on much, just some menu/option of changes. See comment in the ABM thread.


    As above, the N/A in other bouquets is because those service references are no longer in your lamedb. ABM reads and then writes lamedb, so if they were wrong to begin with, they will be corrected later. It is either the bouquet editor you are using or the channel list provider.


    Can you please provide a lamedb before ABM runs and one after. Also a debug log showing you use ABM. Ensure no IPTV login details are in log file.

  • OpenATV 7.* setup guide by KiddaC

    I seldom have issues with restoring setting between image lines/versions. The only things that are affected is defaults. You'd soon find out if there was an issue and can change it. Besides, ATV do not have an option to avoid the restore, you have to delete the backup files. Yuk!


    Starting clean and setting up from scratch and only using plugins on the plugin server one at a time is always safest option and is what to do if you encounter problems after you have flashed and then restored or updated.


    Anyway, to resolve your language issue, stop enigma2 with the following command using Putty

    init 4

    Then FTP to /etc/enigma2/ and edit the file called "settings"

    Edit the lines that start with following and amend them if required.

    Save, transfer back ( ensures it completes) and then restart with following command in Putty

    Can you please post a screenshot and exact menus to access it. I cannot see this option .

    Best to install the version from the plugin server. If there are issues with it, report it properly so it can be looked at/fixed.


    If you are using a version from the "take, but not contribute to source code " people just install their ipk.

    Oscam-EMU

    The bulk of the key stuff was removed from the plain oscam and is now in the EMU edition. Instead of the sporadic updates of days gone by, this is updated fairly regularly by most images that build regularly. I don't know where the secret feed build from because their recipes are now private, but most images/people build from the the following repository
