    Good afternoon.

If my channel works with these parameters, it means the broadcast is already using the new technology SoftCSA?

    Thnks

    Ps

    This is dont make

I dont know if this is a language/translation issue.

But the instructions definitely work. Here is the output from my receiver. If anybody else has an issue, please post the errors you get. The commands are for OpenATV.

    Code
    Welcome to openATV for vuduo4k
    openatv 7.6.0 vuduo4k

    vuduo4k login: root
    Password:

    Code
    root@vuduo4k:~# root@vuduo4k:~# wget -qO- --no-check-certificate "http://updates.mynonpublic.com/oea/feed" | bash
SoftCAM Feed Universal2 (secret feed) succesfully installed ...

    Code
    root@vuduo4k:~# opkg install libdvbcsa1
    No packages installed or removed.
    root@vuduo4k:~#

As this thread is now becoming a thread for all issues, I am going to close it. I should have left it in the VIP section!

Everything relating to softcsa is in post 1. Please start your own thread with explicit details.

    Receiver:

    Image name:

    Image Version:

    Image number/date:

    What you have done:

What happened (what worked, what did not).

    Post output/logs.

If the channel is not broadcasting, there will be no EPG on the stream.

So I suppose the next question is how to remove it.

    To remove the current channel:

Open the channel list (not EPG button) highlight the channel, press menu, remove service.

    To remove all channels

With no menus showing, press up (next to OK), green for satellite/simple/extended, highlight cable, press menu, remove cable services, confirm. Afterwards scan again.

Oscam master is just the latest/plain Oscam (at the time image build is run). Plain Oscam removed all the key stuff a couple of years ago. Anything key related is in the emu edition. Otherwise it's the same as it's always been although with many fixes and improvements. Previously it was called Trunk.

For anybody wanting to delete the file, the one liner command is as below. DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIDENT AT USING COMMANDS. That being said, its just copy and paste!

    Code
    init 4 && sleep 5 && rm -f /etc/enigma2/whitelist_streamrelay && init 3

    More details here

    https://www.linuxsat-support.com/thread/162360-whitelist-streamrelay-remove-file-or-channels/

Option 3. Delete the file by command line.

DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIDENT AS YOU CAN MESS THINGS UP

Log in to Putty and copy then paste this command, followed by the Return key into Putty

    Code
    init 4 && sleep 5 && rm -f /etc/enigma2/whitelist_streamrelay && init 3

DO NOT USE THIS IF YOU ARE NOT CONFIDENT AS YOU CAN MESS THINGS UP

Option 2. Stopping Enigma2 then deleting by FTP.

The file is held in RAM. Deleting it while Enigma2 is running won't work as it will be re-written. We need to stop Enigma2 using a command sent by Terminal/Putty

It is better to use Putty/Terminal on your PC as this will remain active .

    Putty.png

    For Putty:

    1. Click on "Other" and ensure Telnet is selected

    2. Enter your receiver's IP address

    3. Click on Open

    4. Log in as "root"

    5. Enter the password you set.

    6. Issue (send) the following command and then press Return. This will stop Enigma2 from running

    init 4

Note: Right click when using Putty pastes whatever is copied

Then using FTP ( Filezilla, WInSCP or your file manager on your PC if it can see the receiver), navigate to /etc/enigma2 Then highlight the whitelist_streamrelay file, right click and delete it.

Once you have deleted the file, issue (send) the following command and then press Return in Putty which will restart your receiver

    init 3

If you dont have putty, you can use terminal on the webinterface for the first part. Using the web browser on your PC/laptop, enter the IP address of your receiver.

Click on Terminal on the left, near the bottom then log in as mentioned above. You can then delete by FTP

As Enigma2 is not running, the terminal in openwebif will also stop running. You have to restart the receiver manually by switching the power off then back on.

There are several ways to unmark channels from using streamrelay.

    Option 1.

Menu > Setup > Decryption and Parental Control

    1.jpg

    Then select Stream Relay settings

    2.jpg

Navigate to the list of service references.

Press Blue to remove each and every service (channel) you want to remove.

Once complete, press green to save.

    Notes:

For OpenATV, it must have a known softcam installed to show the softcam/decryption menu

Menu titles may be slightly different if using older image

You cannot install softcsa, it's part of the image!

You are doing something and not saying it. The image doesn't come with a stream relay file, so something is creating it The file is held in RAM. If you delete it (externally) with Enigma2 running, there will be no effect. Either stop Enigma2 by command line, then delete it. Or use the menu to delete the entries

You should have just installed the softcam from the secret feed, test. Afterwards try different ones.

I have moved the posts into their own thread as they are not softcsa related in my opinion. Should he provide logs that confirm It is, I will forward to the coder and move posts back.

We seem to have people piggybacking on any thread.

It sounds to me he is using stream relay. Using stream relay has always affected scanning.

Anyway, please also say which version and date of OpenATV you are using.

You have yet to explain what " get the light" means.

I dont understand how enabling a decryption method affects satellite reception/scanning. You can scan/find channels without being able to decrypt/view them. Please enable debug log, and perform a scan of the affected satellite with softcsa disabled, save the log. Repeat with softcsa enabled. Once we have both logs, we can forward to the developers to look at your issue.

What do you mean by "I have light"

Good evening, can you please add the `softcsa` icon/code? Details here:
