all working now ?
The stream relay with normal bouquets is working fine according to those who have used/tested it. The PLI commits are below, they wont cherry pick cleanly so beyond my skills.

The crash logs will still be there. If you decide you want to have the issue looked at, please upload the logs.
To use Vix's Softcam Manager, it looks for softcams in the softcam directory.
People were having lockups using softcam manager and oscam, especially on mips receivers. Obviously people who flash/reboot their box every day and have the latest receivers don't get the problem and say they have been using oscam for years without problems.
If you are using the script control method, oscam does not have to be in the softcam folder. The script must point to where the binary is located. I would urge any third party builders to use the same locations as ATV/PLI.
Don't mix/match processes. Either install the ipk as per the instructions of the person making it. If you are going to replace the binary, do it to match the control method you want to use.
You can understand why it is crashing by looking at the crash logs. Someone will have to fix the reason why it is crashing. They will need to see the log or be able to reproduce the crash themselves. So bottom line is attach the crash log.
You can post on this forum. Issue might be the plugin you are using or something in the image. Some of the ViX developers post here too.
Are you installing an ipk uploaded on a forum/website or from the image's plugin server. Which image are you using? Name and version/date of image please. Also which receiver?
I have moved your thread from introductions. Please attach your crash log. Default location is /home/root/logs
The oscam with UK/Italy feeds is not installable from any image feeds yet. Nobody wants to share the patch. Images that want to host it will have to make one from the binary.
The oscam-emu in the plugin feeds has the German patch.
Hopefully somebody will host a file that is maintained and a script/plugin to fetch it can be made.
Edit:
As I have moved the posts below into a new thread, this is for people using the new function where stream relay bouquets are not needed. See this thread:
Applies to OpenPLI Nightly (developer image). The function is not available in OpenPLI 9.0
Also applies to
OpenBlackhole 5.3 009 and newer
OpenViX 5.3.008 and newer
OpenATV 7.3 (7th December 2023 and newer)
Littlesat mentioned that the oscam-emu with the publically available German patch works. You can get it from the PLI feeds.
Display MoreDisplay MoreHallo Samur, here is a new ICAM SoundFix for your Sourcecode ;))
Sorry, but the patch add bugs to the existing ones for the Stream Relay ...
read in the first page (post #1) in this thread :
(I cam is running better, most time with zapping there is a picture immediately.
)
but
for that patch you need to wait 3 or 4 seconds and sometimes you need to re-zap to get a picture .

hi
Is it available your oscam.bin for sky uk ?
Samur's binary works for UK, Italy and Germany.
Indeed, you are correct abu baniaz
This is not working with PLI develop and samur icam UK oscam bin
Do you get same result for the German channels with Samur's binary?
OpenVix and OBH are working around the issue in Samur's version.
Display MoreZero4k is not one of our dev build models.
Littlesat is right. The icam patch needs fixing so it works properly. If the patch was available we would probably be able to do it.
Do the "develop" images here:

Not have the changes by littlesat applied ?
They should do. The commits were made at ~14:27 on 13/10/2023. Developer images built after that date & time will have the changes. A build was completed on 15/10, so a performing a software update will bring in those changes too.

yes, that's the image i used OpenPLi » Nightly builds not have the new features
Post a screenshot of the image details please. You have not said the version date of your image.
The feature will be in Nightly/Developer images after 13/10/2023. Let me move posts about this to a new thread as it won't be available to the masses just yet.
The whitelist_streamrelay file is just a list of service references that have been marked to use stream relay. You can do that on the remote. Obviously easier if someone provides a list of them. As an example:
1:0:1:1AFA:3FE:1:C00000:0:0:0:
Pli have made some changes where stream relay bouquets will no longer be required. This is working for the German channels. The PLI developers are only using the publically available patch. Are you willing to adapt your binary so that it works for UK/IT channels without the stream relay bouquets please?
https://github.com/OpenPLi/enigma2/commit/3b9d7f3d9996380e338bc176534d67056d86624d
Yes, it is a clone if it has a Sim 210 card.
Try to boot into the recovery menu. Power off, when you power on, hold the power button on remote too.
You can reflash from there if you have an ethernet connection or you can boot into another partition.
The thread was meant to be just for uploads.
Anyway....

The ABM log is not showing why it is re-running again, enigma2 debug log would be better. Maybe you are mainly using IPTV and losing time as you are not on a transponder? Perhaps set your time syncing method to the internet instead of transponder. Just for info, 28.2 changes are usually Tuesdays or Thursday. Not much benefit running ABM daily.
