Enigma2 is not designed for security in mind. Opening up ports on your router without SSH keys has to possible consequences:

    1. People can stream from your box

    2. People can use your box to launch other scripts on your home network

(One of the developers allowed someone else to work remotely on his box owing to different reception standards between countries, somebody else hacked in and wiped the HDD on the receiver).

Make sure you do it correctly if you decide you want to do this.

Oh, you are asking how to stream from your receiver to the outside network. Following threads should help

oops... Yeah I am in the process off making all my skin files similar. That name error has been corrected offline.
I will be doing a new release tonight of slyk q, slyk 1080 and onyx with my latest faffs.

I noticed the update on Slyk 1080 (R19) Version 2.24 has been updated. The ipk looks ok but GitHub is still the same "s-ChannelSelection.xml"

I have submitted this pull request. I presume that windows sees the two files as identical names, that is why the issue occurred.

Alternatively, please rename the file on the GitHub website as windows won't see the change in case as a change.

You cannot use the wideband outputs designed for Sky Q on any Enigma2 receiver.

The universal/legacy outputs can be used.

A hybrid LNB has both universal and wideband outputs, so you can change which ports the wires are connected to. If you only have a wideband LNB, you will have to change it . A wideaband LNB will only have two outputs. If you have just got rid of Sky Q, that will in part answer your queries. Otherwise, post a clear picture of the LNB.

Would be nice to get the audio working from HDMI-IN recording.

As well as allowing PLI skins to work without modifications for the infobar aspects - without breaking other skins

There is nothing to work on. Flash expander and the smallflash wizard are for receivers with small flash Your receiver does not fall into that category.

Its a bit like asking for a clutch on an automatic car.

You can install flash expander if you want to use it.

As far as I understand it, OE-Alliance images with relevant E2 coding treat boxes with following criteria as "smallflash"

    A. Receiver that have flash memory of 128MB or less (there is a separate class for those with 64MB)

    B. Receivers that have bootloaders that cannot accept a USB flash of =>110MB but fine when flashed using ofgwrite.

EDIT: 128MB not 96MB. Thanks Captain

Solo 2 does not fall into the smallflash category. The wizard that is designed for boxes with small flash will not apply to it.

The Vuuno has smallflash, that is why it has that wizard.

Please post a screenshot of the scanning options you are using. You can follow this guide:

Can you please also attach the file called "settings". It is in /etc/enigma2 You will need to zip it before you can upload it to teh forum. Please read it before you upload just to double check you have no user names etc.

Automatic scan scans all the available/configured satellites. Your tuner config should not change by itself . There was someone else who kept on having the issue, he was just killing the power to the box and this was corrupting the settings. If you are doing this, please don't always put the receiver into deep standby before killing the power.

Why are you scanning everyday? Please see if manual scan gives you the option to select the satellites you want.

Hopefully you have seen the comment on other forum.

Captain has fixed it for you

    https://github.com/openatv/enigma2/commit/c4f146c9946689ea086b0fbc9689df34ed71c4e1

You can get the file from here

    https://raw.githubusercontent.com/openatv/enigma2/c4f146c9946689ea086b0fbc9689df34ed71c4e1/lib/python/Screens/Satconfig.py

    File will go in

    /lib/python/Screens/

Backup original.pyc, just in case. add .original at end of filename

    Transfer .py

After restart a modifed .pyc file will be created. Then delete the .py file

That seems OK. Please post a screenshot of the scan settings you are using. Maybe you are just selecting one satellite. Please focus on the screen so that it is clear. You can use the webbrowser to get clear screenshots

Tuner A3-A8 (those without physical connection ports) will only ever be used when the software makes use of internal loop-through. They are not independent unless you are using unicable, so forget about them. Please leave them as FBC automatic or leave them disabled/not configured

Which image date are you using? ATV just merged some changes into the 11th July image that has different code. Maybe that might help. Please try the DMM image, if that works fine, check the driver details. ATV may need to source them and/or add work arounds.

Someone from OpenATV development team will be checking the DM920 for you.

If you are asking about for the language selection, yes they have. Once you change language it restarts in the selected language.

    EDIT:

Make sure you flash images dated 11th July or newer.
