Have you tried to start E2 in console mode? IMO, that method is better than looking at debug log as you can see response/errors in real time.

You can have a fixed dish and motorised on a single tuner receiver. The switch should be between motor and LNB otherwise it won't last.

The tuner config picture is at least 5 years old, so wording would have changed

CoolTV guide is not going to work on recent PLI images. Will probably only work on ATV 6.4 and lower.

For the settings you need to find, compare the files called "settings" on both receivers. It is in /etc/enigma2 Once you find it, I will test and inform PLI developers.

You would probably be better off using the grid EPG built into the image. Single EPG as well as other EPG screens are also available. Set your preferences with hotkey.

If you long press the EPG button, you will the various options. Hotkey will allow you to set the one to use on short press. I have set red button to single epg like on Vix

Look at the screen, the coloured buttons are context and change. You want to start the softcam and enable startup.

To install OScam

Menu > Plugins > Green ( for downloads).

Scroll down to softcams, Select the one you want, press OK to install it.

Install from teh plugin menu. You will have to source your own config files though. Atari has a link to some oscam configs files in his signature.

There was a commit to CrossEPG by LraiZer today. Please update your openATV 7.0 image tomorrow and try CrossEPG again.

As an alternative, you can try the built-in OpenTV EPG reader LraiZer added.

In the EPG settings, ensure the OpenTV EPG reader is enabled. They suggest to disable Freesat EPG reader as the EPG data is slightly different.

You must then zap/select/activate/view the IEPG service on 11778 Vertical 27500. Two/three minutes should be fine. If you are using ABM, you will find it in the the Sky Info bouquet.

If you want to automate the zapping, you can set a zap timer on OpenATV images. Ensure you set an end time. Please see screenshots.

The OE-A and PLI teams build dvbsnoop from Persian Prince/OpenVision's fork of the project. That is probably the most uptodate version about and installs in /usr/bin.

OpenATV 7 uses python 3. CrossEPG has not been converted to python 3 yet.

Which EPG do you want to obatin?

How do you want to obtain it? Download Rytec EPG from internet or obtain data from data from satellite (if applicable)?

Which satellite/s are connected to the tuner?

Do you have switches/splitters in between

What have you set the tuner as?

Which channel are you trying to receive?

Have you checked another receiver on the same signal wire/s?

Press up (next to OK), look at bottom of screen. Green should be extended/satellites, press it. All the satellites will be listed. Highlight the one you want to delete, press menu, delete selected satellite.

I tried rebuilding the ipks again, they still do not work.

I will continue with icemen's issue in his thread. This thread is meant to be for ABM ipks

Tomorrow's PLI build will have the latest ABM.

It will take me a couple of days to do the ipk or weekend. If anybody wants to do it, download the ipk from ATV 6.4. Unbuild it, in control file remove the enigma2 and libc dependencies and then rebuild it.
