Download Poedit program.

Download the po file from your image. Italian one is here

Make the changes you want. And submit a pull request so it is added to the image. If you cant do that yet, upload the modified file here and I will do it for you.

Try installing it from the plugins menu. Do not use any ipk you have downloaded.

Are you installing a downloaded ipk or from the plugin server?

Can you add more details on how it does not work? Does it bootloop, fail to boot? Do you have crash logs?

They are based on image unless the skinner has added an elabel. All the images use their own translation files. Best to edit them using poedit and submit a pull request.

More than likely you had the logging option enabled in mgcamd and it was then flooding your network because it could not reach the IP address.

Best to set the logging value to 0

Which remote do you use to change the volume?

Apparently you are meant to leave the receiver volume on full whack and only control using the TV remote.

If you upload the crash log, it may help explain why.

Just conducting a survey on whether people's remotes are identified correctly. To find out what your remote is identified as, press following

OpenViX:
Menu > Setup > System > Input Devices

OpenATV:
Menu > Setup > Usage & User Interface > Extended User Interface > Input Devices

OpenPLi:
Menu > Setup > System > Expert Settings > Input Devices

Please respond back with receiver, image you are running and which remote/s input devices are shown. Thanks in advance

Right, that rules out software. Do you have another receiver you can try? Maybe a friends?

You don't need to flash a different image. Just flash PLI again, although latest one is 7.3. There are two types you can download. Use the Recovery version.
