I have moved the thread out of the tutorials section.

Can you explain what you mean by icon didn't swap?
-
Just update the satellites.xml. Your tuner configuration will not be changed if the positions in the xml files are the same as the existing one you have.
Bear in mind that:
OpenPLI, OpenVix, OpenBlackhole, OpenATV and other OE-A images use the orbital positions from Lyngsat. As an example they use 0.8w
Blackhole uses the one from Kingofsat. They use 1w.
I think you misread post 10. If you want to scan a single satellite, use manual scan.
-
You would need to enable debug logs, restart, then upload the debug log after the issue has happened
-
Latest of which image? OpenPLi, OpenATV, BlackHole, OpenBlackHole?
-
Automatic scan scans everything you have set your tuners to receive. If you want to scan specific satellites, use manual scan. You should have an option to select the satellites you want to scan.
Satellites.xml is not used for tuning. It is used for validating the available satellites and positions. lamedb file is what holds the tuning parameters.
Scanning does not alter your bouquets. If you select "clear before scan", you will get an "N/A" for the channels that no longer exist in lamedb. This is a good thing because you would have just got a "tune failed" before you scanned.

I have closed this thread to prevent people piggy backing on it with a completely different problem. Moved out of EPG section too.
Please start your own thread in the ABM section for ABM issues.
-
Forget ABM. Go to signal finder and see if you can lock onto the frequency. Change the values to exactly what is pictured. If you can't get a signal lock, you need to re-align your dish.
-
ABM for Sky 28.2 uses the frequency for tuning. It does not matter which region you use.
Your tuner config should be:
Simple
Single
28.2
I don't know why you are using Toneburst
-
That frequency is what Sky receivers use. It is going to be an alignment/cabling/hardware issue provided you have configured tuners correctly.
-
30/5/18
Swap system changes
mips32el.ipk
For receivers like Technomate 3T combo, Xtrend 8000, Vu Solo2
cortexa15hf-neon-vfpv4.ipkFor receivers like Solo 4k, Mutant HD51
sh4.ipk
For receivers like Amiko Alien

Just for info,
is maintained by Huevos for the OE-A teams. An update is done every Saturday. Data is fetched from Lyngsat.
-
9/5/2018 version. Has the python changes to deal with the HD bouquet order
-
burremr, the changes for 00006 have been applied to ABM for you. Updating the config/provider file in the the ABM menu should resolve the issue.
-
wesd84, your thread got hijacked. If you still have a problem, please scan manually and then upload your lamedb and lamedb5 files
Please also answer the same question about Net ID.
What is your Net ID?
Do you know it for definite by looking at official box?
Or are you guessing?
-
Thank you.
I got the following details
Code< 39.169> [ABM-config] providers: cable_uk_virgin:hd_40979_dvbc_uk:7:|sat_282_sky_uk:hd_london:3: < 40.783> [eDVBFrontend] tuning to 611000 khz, sr 6952000, fec 0, modulation 3, inversion 2 < 41.126> [ABM-Manager][read] Reading cable_uk_virgin (hd_40979_dvbc_uk)...I have updated the official file that is used by ABM so all users will benefit.
-
You are mentioning two different methods. This thread is about ABM. ABM does not have all systems or ex cw. Mentioning what is not relevant confuses things.
If you used 40979 and update the provider file, then that means you are not using the file I gave you.
I advise:
Enable debug logs, restart. run abm, then atatch debug log.
-
What worked?
One advice was to use 40980
The other was to go through all of them until you find one that works
-
Disable all bar the one tuner when testing. We can sort things out later afterwards
-
Which region are you in?
Please update the provider file using option in ABM menu, ten try again
