Looking around the forum, and seems nobody talk on this topic.
    Question:

    1) Can we implement CDN on OSCam / CCcam?
    2) Will CDN increase the quality of streaming during card sharing between A provider with B provider ?
    3) Will CDN help up on peer (STB) connecting to OScam or CCcam server?

Is that if hop=2 hops (A=>B=>C) means if I create a peer login to my brother example: C: abc.no-ip.com 12000 bro bro for his dreambox, with hop=2 he can login 2 boxes at one time using the same login I had created to him??

I had read alot of article in this forum regarding on hop setting and configuration, but cannot find any deep explanation on hop and what is so special or important of "hop"
Wiki did not mention in detail regarding on "hop" as well.
Googling as well cannot give a correct answer on "hop"

Can some expert enlighten me on this, thanks..

If you are using an STB the best thing you can do is install lss addons plugin there you will get cams and configs for all packages already setup for you and the card you wish to read in oscam this way the job is done for you

Thanks for the advice, I;m not using a STB.
    Just a normal $kybox or Dreamb0x.

Follow this guide. It works as you'd like.
A setup but Oscam as reader and CCcam on the client is easy to set up and works perfectly stable

Upon reading on the link, it is basically a OSCam -> OScam (with CCcam protocol) which did not talk on the CCcam.cfg setting on the Remote Server (Oscam B).
    What was set :-

    At OScam.cfg

The CCcam protocol was activated in the OScam emulator. Whereby that is not what I mean up here.
Due to my OScam emulator installation is automatically installed the CCcam emulator, so I would like to know here, if it is OK to run 2 emulators whereby linking them together (they are in the same server)?

Not 2 same emulators with different protocol.

Going in to the OScam.user setting on the URL given

I think this user login and password is used as a C LINE and to be set in STB. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What are you trying to do ?

I want to do something is correct to be done.
As far is I know there are many type of connecting 2 Emus. , but which one the best or correct way to be done.

My thinking is to use OSCam as a reader , CCcam as a peering work. Intermediately there should be a communication point btwn. these 2 emulators.
    How it should be communicating?

How many method to connect OSCam with CCcam (Linking it up)
Is it OScam ----> CCcam OR CCcam -----> OSCam ? OR Either way?

Upon doing some reading here as well as other forum, I found up there 2 major way to connect OSCam with CCcam (vice-versa).
Technically and logically are they correct?
    Expert kindly comment.

    Method 1 (Using N-LINE)

    Method 2 (L-LINE)

    :06:

Upon reading on the link Oscam using CCcam or oscam alone? What's best? would like to summarize it here:-

    OSCan+CCcam

    a) Possible of crashes when it comes to we start one side of the emulator (OScam) only, and not both. This will cause CCcam to run in and read the card (/dev/sci0 card reader) where by it is not suppose be.
    b) When OScam + CCcam restart at one time, but CCcam fully loaded first before OScam. Causing same problem as above.

Nothing much after that because the content twisted to OSCam+CCcam explanation.. (Running out of topic)

My thinking on this: I think the way of that 2 above main problem happen when the STP is set to run 2 lines from both OSCam + CCcam. (Correct me if I'm wrong).
Let say if I split out the emu work into 2 section, whereby OSCam will purely work as a card reader job, not others.
CCcam job will be fully on peering job, whereby providing access to STB.

With this separation of job, would it be able to solve the crash problem?

    ------------

On Reference Link Why not use Oscam as a server with CCcam protocol?[/QUOTE] summarize :-

    Purely on OSCam
    a) Issue of faker when it happen to be a barter trade of N Lines. However someone pointed out it can be solve by grouping it correctly, but to conclusion or solid prove on it.
    b) Hopping issue, where by I still do not understand
    c) Pure response on bug reporting for OSCam, and they simply mark "solved" to ""unsolved"" issue.

    OScam+CCcam
    a) Problem of CCcam ver 2.1.3 or below with the "256" tricks

    Summary
As I had mentioned above, what if OSCam work purely as "Card Reading Job" only and "CCcam" works as "Peering Job to STB", will it be a perfect solution??

Does the log file shows something like

    ... oscam.7045 is frozen, Restarting...
    ... AutoStopping: oscam.7045
    ... AutoStopping: CCcam.2.1.3
    ... AutoStarting: oscam.7045

I remember I came across this topic at some forum, and if it does, I think if I'm not wrong, you got to upgrade your oscam to the latest version / patches.
    Hope it help...

Sorry, I would like to re-point back my question at #8 on

If OScam can work as a reader + peer (for boxes to connect to server) by itself, why there is a need to have OSCam+CCcam ? I do not really understand why there is a redundancy on this, if OScam can work perfectly fine on itself.
Why there is a need for OScam to embed with CCcam? Is there anything special to do so? Or there is a weak point at OScam itself that required CCcam to bind with?

I'm trying on 2 method CCcam.cfg setting, I'm OK and roughly understand the logic.
For OSCam to create a peer for my boxes, my OScam webif shows initial "ONLINE" with green bar and after 10 seconds later +/- , it changed to "Connected" with light brown bar.
Checking on my box CCcam status, shows it is at "Login" status and not "Online".
May I know what is the problem?

    Appreciated.

Experts in OSCam/CCcam kindly point me to a correct path. :83:

I think I found up the reason why when I update my CCcam.cfg it cannot be instantly refresh on my new Listening Port number.
After I did my port updating (as well as updating my router inbound port) + RESTARTING my Ubuntu Server, it will refresh OSCam/CCcam will reflect to my new port update.

My OScam/CCcam (CCcam Webmin PHP is currently running the "black and white version" as below :-

    Welcome to CCcam 2.1.3 server
    Connected clients: 1

Is that possible for me to upgrade it to this URL: CCcam Webmin Panel
The colourful version of PHP CCcam Webmin Panel?
Can someone guide me to this and appreciated.

No worries, no payserver is allowed here. I'm aware of the rules. :32_002:
Infact the main reason I for me to do here is to get more idea on 2 key points, which are Proxy, Load Balancing + CDN.

Proxy, Load Balancing I can see I can get some posting here. I will go through all the posting first.
However for CDN stuff on OSCam, it seems like no where I can see it here..
Infact there info are for my OpenERP project which I'm doing it now; whereby getting the logic and applying in my project.

Thanks again for the clarification. Appreciated.
