The moment it happens other proxies kick in...nothing actually showing in the log. But when I check the reader (which is the USB version, plugged into the back of the tower), it is flashing red continuously. I have to take the card out and re-insert and then it sorts itself out. But over the past 10 hrs it has happened twice. Might be a faulty reader.

Having an issue with my Omni Link where after a few hours it flashes red continuously and it is not connected, is this a common fault with these readers, I was using a Phoenix Smart mouse before, but Omni Link has better Ecm times.

I have a HD receiver in my bedroom, it's a SlyBox F3. It sits nicely in the fitted wardrobes but then I have to leave the door open in order to change the channels. Is there anything I can do to boost the signal from the remote to the receiver (i.e external equipment) that will enable me to use the receiver with the door closed. Someone mentioned a magic eye, but I wasn't sure if that would work, also the SlyBox F3 does not have an RF output and I am aware if I bought an external RF modulator i would lose the picture quality. Your thoughts ladies and gents please.

This VIP malarkey was meant to make you feel like a very important person, wonder what someone neutral would think when they read this thread.

Muso I have 15 friends and family and 2 peers, inc me 3 cards, my ECM seems to be a lot higher with these peers and the ECM's i get from them are almost 3-4 times lower. So instead of sharing everything with them maybe i could drop one category to reduce ECM on my card

Say you are sharing with a peer on Oscam, but you don't want to share all your services, how do you this?

Does this still give you the option for cccam client? I know f/w 3601 HD was good but it didn't have the wifi option. Does this have both wifi and cccam client?

Yes I did have 17 ""clients" or users two of which were internal in my own property. That leaves 15. Out of the 15, at any one time the max number of users or "clients" were 8-9. There is no way my card was being hammered. Some suggest any one card can handle hundreds of requests, I have not tested it but the people that did say this are experienced members who have been in the card sharing network for some time. However Musogeek makes a valid and fair point, the more reliable peers you have it takes the strain off your card as it doesn't have to work as hard.

I was asking about a white 0963 card. In a previous thread I started Musogeek suggested that my card was being hammered by 16 users. I found this comment a little strange considering that at one time the number of users would be 8-9. I was having a disconnecting issue where ECM's were not being delivered, turned out I didn't need LB with Oscam as I was only using the one card.

I use the F3 quite a bit, It's a nice little box, I recommend this most clients as it's cheap and also it does 1080p as a pose to 1080i... if you simply want it for viewing, go for it
