ive read about peeps using a powered usb device and have sorted it out that way.... but i never rush in .. and ill keep reading and searching to sort the prob out .... i think it is corrupt , all i need to do is get inside the damn thing lol ..... right off to bed and try another day .... shame there anything on the board like a pc that i can reset by swapping pins around .... night all

I have an hard drive inside for recording but no other sub devices connected .... I'll give that tool a go

When I put any usb stick in all it says is reading sub for a split second then goes to first boot set up ..... I set it up then turn it off and loops round again...... Tried connecting with vu+ utility and that seems to connect but sticks at 20% and asks to restart machine and want to start cfg..... Then that's as far as it gets..... Don't know what to do next to be honest .....

Yes done all that ....used about 10 different sticks so I've decided to try a null cable ...... Every time I restart my vu box it goes back to the set up screan and won't hold any settings .... So I'm trying to go back to vix from BH .... So as I said does anyone know why it's hanging at 20% and asking to enter cfe mode

Hi all ... I'm trying to update my vu+ duo2 with null cable I've connected fine and its started to update , but it's just hanging at the stage 2 enter into cfe mode and is at 20% am I missing anything? .... I'm having to flash this way as I can't do it through usb , tried all sorts of sub sticks... Any ideas m8ys

Ok where to start ? ...... I put master g's new blackhole back up image on the other day , could not get it to work on my sly channels after putting my cccam.cfg in var-etc folder as you would do. I did have a openvix working great for about a year after not getting on with BH before then , so when I saw the images of master g's image I would give it a go . So now I can't get any other image to go onto my vu+duo2 (not a clone) I've tried the usb stick fat32 that as put images onto my box and my sons , I've also tried 10 other sticks with no joy . I've got 2 sticks that nearly goes but for about 1 second it hangs on usb then goes to start , I've disconnected my hard drive and have no other usb sticks connected , I've even done a factory reset..... I've had a look at vu+ toolbox but not got a scubby lol ..... Any help would be great as I've tried all I know .....

Yes servers are up my sons on same one ..... I'm used to openvix , a little easier for me to set up lol.... Just doing a service scan see if that works .

Still not getting my sly channels ......help!!!

Yes I chose 2.3.0 and it started but still not working .... Just went into various - etc and found .cfg file read linuxsat info , so I deleted that and put my .cfg file in and checked that was fine but still not working ..... Stumped lol

Just installed this image after using openvix....had probs with epg so giving this Bh ago ..... Ok the prob I have is after using Vucc to find my CCCam.cfg file over to various /etc I can't get any channels other than the slandered fta channels ... No slys working... I've set my area Sheffield and 28.2 and rescanned .... Everything's showing on the epg..... Any ideas ?

Ok I'm all sorted ...... This is how I've set my vu+ duo with a one tb hard drive fitted......... Tuner A set to simple ..... Mode set to DiSEq A/B ........ Port A 28.2e 28a & Astra 2am/2e/2f (all depends on what sat you use). Port B same asA......... Voltage 22khz (yes) ...... Send DiSEqC only satellite change (yes). Save these changes move onto tuner B .... Configuration mode .. Loop through to .... Connected to tuner A and save ..... This works for me .... Hope this helps others as it took me awhile to work out .....

Thanks for your help ...... I've sorted out my picture problem .... Removed my cams through tspanel then re-installed cccam then my nline ....... Working agn now ..... Just waiting for response from my provider..... Thanks agn and yes I'm learning abt what's allowed and not ...... And abt my vu box.... All good fun

I'm on it now ..... Just buggered something up lol ..... Sbox+Cccam2.1.3 and now nothing works lol ..... Put back to Cccam 2.3.0 but no pic even after enigma2restart aghhhhhhhh lol

I'm asking my provider but I've found in soft cam that available share is 1

I've found my soft cam/ci nothing in common interface or assignment or soft cam manager ...

if you are okay watching / recording 2 fta channel at the same time it's not a tuner issue. It's either softcam or like I am saying an issue with all images. i have this problem on both of my xpeed lx2 boxes but the amiko alien is fine....

I'm new to all this so it's a big learning curve for me lol ....not sure what softcam is , do I need to install it ? ....or is it already in vix?...... Hope I'm not becoming a pain

im trying to get to the root cause of the issue will share the fix once resolved. ..others may already know a fix but I can't find anything about it online. ....????
