I just saw the same issue is on their App - streaming DR2. This issue is all over Allente... Impressive.
Why do they not quality-check their signals? hmm

Actually I wrote to Telenor, but they just rejected my issue and pointed to the Provider. I just know if I present this issue to Allente, they want me do "basic" things, that clearly is not the issue.
I would imagine most people are not bothered by the flicker, but it is the sort of thing that very much annoys me.
Perhaps if enough people complain they will do something to fix it:thumbup:
I guess the "best picture quality" is not on satellite as in the old days. This problem is so annoying.
I can confirm the same issue on TV 2 Sport x
10716 H 25000 3/4
VU ultimo 4k
Is the problem seen on official STB's ??
OMG - I am really "glad" to hear you can confirm this. Then I know it is not my hardware. Thanks!

I get my signal through Satellite 0,8W Ku band – and have Allente as my service provider.
The last few months I have noticed flickering on (mostly) live transmissions on DR1, DR2 and all TV2 channels. It is especially bad on still pictures – like an overview camera with statistics over a match – it happens all day and is periodic – it flickers on 2/3 part of the screen.
Right now, I only see this (visual at least) with channels on transponder 10.716 GHz, POL H and 10.934 GHz, POL V
When I have problems on DR1, I can change to TV2 Norway and/or TV4 Sweden on the same transmission (Euro2020 or Olympics) and verify that the picture is fine/clear on their transmission. Even if I change to 19,2 East and ZDF, the picture is still clear and no visible problems.
Local search for errors:
I have tried 3 different satellite boxes (both S2 and S2x tuners), 3 different televisions (3 independent setups), and reset all boxes. 2 different Enigma2 images, tried changing LNB (Flatdishes), no diseq involved, cable is of really good quality – signal strength is always above 90% - even when the picture flickers. No BER errors.
What is going on here? Where could this problem be? I have never seen anything like it – I have setup satellite dishes for decades, and never seen this before.

Yes I know I will change the Selfsat flatdish, wth their new model with unicable 2. Selfsat h50dcss
It has the output like the illustration. 1 FBC/CSS and two normal outputs.
My thoughts on the illutration was to have 1 cable "controlling" the motor, and css just being used on the recievers to record more channels and faster shift channels
Thanks Zilizila. I will look into that, though Im not sure what you mean by "channel" :-) Is that frequencies?
My current setup is:
Main/Duo2 4k = Two cables out (Tuner A and B)
2nd/Ultimo4k = 1 cable out (Tuner A)
I want to get use of the frequencies to quicker change channels and record more channels at once (from the same sattellite overall, and mostly 0,8.
Thanks.
Well, the motor is only used in rare cases. So my setup would be "fixed" to 0,8 west. ANd only main has to use motor sometimes.
And yes, I tried Google - many different setups outthere - not only fixed but also motor. Its not that black and white.
Do you think I started out drawing my setup before google it?? hehe man...But thanks. I guess.
Anyone? :-)
Maybe the question about: does an unicable work through an old motor to the css lnb? or does it have to go around the motor in a 2nd cable?
Hey there guys,
Im new to Unicable, but Im going to get a unicable LNB (selfsat) and my two Vu+ are compatible.
So, is this the way to set it up physically? I mean, I guess I cant get "unicable" signel through the Motor or??
Please help with any guidiance how to setup like this both hardware, but also the settings in the Vu+
Main satellite position is 0,8 west.
Thanks for any ideas and help

Can someone help me to extract keysin my conax paired system please.
I have an ADB2850.
Thanks.
Regards,
Jules.
Hi Jules,
I have the same problem and the same box. Did you manage to get it working? Could you share your experiences?
THanks.
If you want to force some CAIDs on the reader to be considered local, this is done with this parameter:
Thanks both.
My problem is to force CAID to reader 1 is that my local card is 0B00 from my local country, but the same provider 0B00 on reader 2 has channels from other countries, that doesnt include on my local. If that wasnt the situation, I would just force 0B00 to reader 1 and all other CAID in reader 2.
Could I force specific channels on 0B00 to go to a reader 1 and other 0B00 channel to reader2 with this code underneath? That would be great!
Do you btw have some examples of this - I dont seem to figure out how to make a line :-)
Is local IP = local card ? :) I am a dummy :)
where do you have this parameter?
My local card is on a local IP 192.168.1.15 - so when enable "Prefer local cards" in global settings, will it know then 192.168.1.15 is local and not a external IP like the external server it always starts picking up at.
Right now its still picking the external server because of the low ecm time at around 0.02, and then after some time change to the usb reader with exm 0.350s.
I just wish there was a straight forward funtion, to say - check this reader first, then reader2 - no matter ecm times.
Is local IP = local card ? :) I am a dummy :)
Im not sure I know what you mean by x and 357 or 378.
I tried to add new reader with 378 protocol now, and set the keep alive = 1.
Is that posible on the cs357x protocol?
Should I change from cs357x to cs378x ? is that better?
What it does right now is that it chooses the external server, because ecm unstable time is 0,02s at start, and then after 2-3 seconds it changes to the usb cardreader, which has a ecm 0,305s stabel. So thats not prefering localcards, if local ip's are local cards. :)
then it took sometiems seconds to unscramble a channel.
Try keepalive = 1 on the [reader]
Is that posible on the cs357x protocol? Cant see it in gui, but I saved it in files under my reader.
