In cron daily/ update I found this script. I have put # in front of the 2nd line on this script. I haven't a clue about cron and really need help with this please

The problem is I don't have the crontab in etc/crontab. I have cron daily/ cron weekly in etc. So I can't even edit it because it's not there.
If your provider is BT you'll not get movies 25 any more as BT have blocked movie 25 and all of xbmc from the start of the week.
Really easy script to install thanks. Could anybody please tell me if there is an automatic update or a restart as mine keeps on rebooting/ updating every morning at 6.38am I wouldn't mind that if it didn't log me in multiple time once it restarted. If there vis could someone please tell me how to switch it off.
I'm not 100% sure but I reckon it should be alright you still would have got all your channels except for movies/ sports/ kids when it was paired to the hd receiver. But you should get all channels with the white thompson receiver.
Have you tried a c line in your receiver from the server to see does it work my reader shows up LB Value/Reader no data also but i'm up and running. If you use the attachment from post 5 and place it in tmp folder then run these 2 commands chmod 755 /tmp/CCcamOscamInstall.sh tmp/CCcamOscamInstall.sh but before you transfer it all you'll have to do go into oscam user and add username and password. This way lets you use the oscam only and the cccam isn't being used. But later on you have the option of using the cccam

Yes you might have followed the tutorial. I have attached a zip file to my last post. The oscam.conf file/ user/ reader is all setup the only thing you have to do is add a username/ password to the oscam user file. I have only installed this today and updated it and it is working 100%.
here is a working oscam you can try
1 On the left hand side, Browse to the "CCcam Oscam Ubuntu 64-Bit" Folder
On the right, browse to <root>/tmp folder
2 Select both "cccamoscam_install_package" Folder & CCcamOscamInstall.sh and copy them to tpm folder
3 chmod the Script with this command

4 Run the Script with this command

Got the oscam updated using simplebuild. Now the only problem is none of the readers are working. Users are offline. So has anybody any suggestions

Forget about this post as I restarted the server for the 2nd time and it all started working
Don't have the ssh inside the home folder. It's not oscam.bin it's only oscam.

Does anyboday have an oscam that works on ubuntu server or can point me in the direction of one.
Still having problems. I have tried the post from Mckee 25. New Oscam didn't work so deleted it and renamed the old one from oscam.old to oscam rebooted the server and the old one was working. I had to place the old one in the tmp folder and chmod it to get it to work. Here is a copy of the old oscam
I was wondering could anybody please tell me how to update Oscam on ubuntu server. I have followed a couple of tutorials and after entering chmod 755 command all i got was file not found. I'm trying to install this file I have got ones saying put it into tmp folder and then run chmod other posts are saying to install it FTP this file to your current oscams binary location ( usr/local/bin/ ) Could someone please tell me the easiest way to install this oscam.

I have 3 openboxes V5S in the kids rooms one of them is 6 years old and he can manage it. You just need to hit Fav button it brings up all the favourite categories. You can pick one of these up for under £50.

Just wondering could anybody help me my server is saying that I'm logged in 11 times. I rebooted it and it seemed to reslove the issue. It was ok last night when I went to bed and got up this morning and it was logged in 10 times. I'm using oscam Oscam r9584

Thanks pheonix you were right it was in setup/ system/ user interface/ skin setup . I had saw it there ages ago whenever I was browsing the box but I forgot about it lol. :14_002::thumb:
I did install Blue HD skin as suggested by master g but it was saying it downloaded but it wasn't anywhere in the box only in uninstall plugins/ skins. So I had thought there was another skin conflicting it so I went into usr/share/enigma 2 and deleted the old one I had in the box as well as the default skin it was my own stupidity as I did see it was the default skin.
I have mucked the box up completely I have ended up deleting the default skin is there anyway of adding a new skin without having to reset the box I have a full backup on usb but leaving it to the last option.
I'm trying to install a new skin. It tells you to use telnet command I was using this link http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=44759 and I can't access it now.

I placed the plugin into the tmp folder then ran the command as stated and it stated no such file or directory I have attached a picture showing this.
Thanks master G got the password sorted. But still getting an error message saying bad port after typing the command in.
