Could somebody kindly point me in the right direction of a tutorial for installing and configuring ubuntu 11.10 server for cardsharing?
Pretty useless when it comes to Linux systems I'm afraid!
I'm guessing once I have the OS configured correctly I will be able to follow the advice that has already been provided.

I am really struggling to get my Sly white card to share properly and in desparate need of some help!
My setup:-
ClearOS 5.2 (I followed the well published tutorial!)
CCcam 2.1.2
NewCS 1.67 RC1
USB Smargo smartcard reader
From what I have read up on you cannot run a higher version of CCcam on ClearOS 5.2 than CCcam 2.1.2, and with this version the Sly white card does not share properly?
I am now looking at getting NewCS 1.67 RC1 working as I am lead to believe this is the way to go. However I have no idea how to configure the NewCS.xml file for my particular setup even after reading up on it?
Should I abandon using ClearOS and go for a Ubuntu/Debian server?
Any advice would be much appeciated, I have done plenty of research and have only posted this because I am really desparate to get this working!
