Is it 1080 yet ?
-
No you can't use subtitles from 1 image in another.
They are hard coded into the core files.
-
Great info.
So the box has less than half the power they advertised it with at Anga 2015 (25K DMIPS)
I'm not sure Gigablue know what they are talking about, as they have listed it with 3 different cpu's (BCM7252S, BCM7362 and then they list the 12K DMIPS ARM cpu too).

That bootloader is for the solo, i don`t think there is any bootloader/cfe update for the solo2. Probably best you figure out which sim the solo2 is using and find a compatible clone image for it..
You are correct, I remember now, there is no separate cfe update for solo2, it was embedded into the images.
So OP it is confirmed you have a clone, so if I were you, I would return it for a refund.
-
Have a look on the vuplus website, it will be on there somewhere.
-
Sounds like it is a clone i'm afraid.
You could try doing a cfe update on it, just incase it's on a REALLY old image (pre-oe2.0).
But if it is on an oe2.x or later image, then I think you should just return it for a refund.

I have tried out so many other images and I know about the red button, button it seems not to work with open Black hole image 0.4:- that is why I made a request here,, may be you have another suggestion. Thank you
Ok do an online update (to make sure you have all updates).
Then press menu - plugins - green button (download plugins) - extensions
then select Hbbtv and it will install it for you. Then it will work from Red button as expected.
-
Then you should just go to an hbbtv channel and press the red button.
-
What box are you using ?
-
yes it works

Is it still 720 only ? -
Nice looking skin was really looking forward to using it.
Sadly though it is only a 720 skin, and on a 4K tv it looks way too big and also the program description is cut off on the infobar.
Thanks for your effort though.

I have seen a post somewhere, with a build of mgcamd for Solo4K reported as working on BH
-
Downloading it now will test it mate ı use normal samsung 3d led tv not 4k tv my solo4k also same on video selection mode it shows 1080p max it depends maybe from tv connection that recognized..
Strange as my Solo4k showed a 2160p option when it was connected to a 1080p tv, if 2160p was selected then the screen was just black.
-
It isn't going to happen, the older boxes don't have the codec's to view the channels.
If your lucky you might be able to stream the channels from your current box to your pc and view them in vlc.
-
Yeh I could hear that it's active, I even tried to stream it via the webif, but sadly still didn't work.

Hey Evo,
I am unaware of any editing that has taken place, so cannot comment on that however
If you are looking for feeds in that specific 4:2:2 format perhaps place a quick request thread in the 'Feed Hunter' section of the site, post which satellites you can receive and i will have a look around for you and post if i find anything, or anyone else for that matter of course
Thanks, I was just trying to help another member as the question was asked if the Solo4k can view 4:2:2 feeds.
I see the post has now been re-instated anyway :)
-
To answer whoever it is that edited my last post.
The reason I asked for sats / transponders with 4:2:2 feeds was so that I could test.
Never mind
