lavatronics no longer give firmware updates you will be trting to update a HD SE firmware on the HD and it doesn't work that's why you get the error, you cant even use the SE version files to get the channel list updates on to the HD . You need to find new channel list or do it manually.

you can download all cam plugins from the image then go into the cam setup section and turn on the info from there
I struggled getting oscam to clear I had to put my own oscam.server file in which I took from the spark side then it cleared for some reason entering my details in the file in image wouldn't work. I download the backup image from lavatronics support site .

Update for this post is that I have now installed it but had to install from usb putting the image files from the folder into enigma2 folder on root of stick then forced upgrade on enigma from boot
it took about 6 mins to install then rebooted, I download the latest channels via autobouquet logged in via cute ftp put my server file in and all up and running the epg system looks good
only problem I find at present is the channel list sometimes goes missing till you go to the right and come back again also the cant get it to move my motor even though I set the usuals .
picture quality is good but changed to 1080p and at the moment not stable 1080 I 50hz runs great .very good image thanks for your hard work

Hi all Ive been running on cccam and mgcam for a while and now setup oscam as well , I turned off the other 2 cams and have been running just on oscam for about a month, today I changed back over to cccam and it wont clear. Ive uninstalled via ftp cleared the keys folder then reinstalled both mgcam and cccasm2.14 from plugins addons put my info back in and still nothing .
has anyone come across this and did you get a resolution . oscam still works fine.

is there a n autobouqets for the spark plugins as I find this image stable and easy to use but would like to have the autoscan .

you need to make sure that the tuner is correctly set in then satellite installation menu , if you have greyed out channels you need to enable the tuner 2 , if your using loop through then you can only record and watch on the same transponder. I am using the spark side which I find great .

this channel list favourites is primarily for 28.2 with all channels set out for *** , I've added a few of the main footy channels into the sports fav at the bottom the rest can be accessed using the sat link in the fav menu fully updated with scan today. Enjoy

I am am the same problem mate I have tried 2 hdd a 320 and 250 formated ntfs and fat 32 I get /.sa1 in mounted and parttion is shown and active the record side works upto the point of choosing when to start, Cross epg wont download when the hdd is mounted and I cant change the output folder of crossepg to the hdd but will download when the hdd is disabled/disconnected can anyone run through the setup procedure for correctly mounting the hdd to this image

I Have sorted it , I have had to download the 1.6.50 rescue image and install from usb now I can access Spark the image that came on the box had been disabled from Spark due to the weather app

Hi all I have just recived my alien 2 box today and I couldn't get on the spark portal I kept getting a net issue , I thenh read that I need to update to a later version of the spark software so I downloaded it from the amiko website version 1.2.68 but I cant get the box to update I keep getting invalid file type this packet if for a spark application upgrade am I doing something wrong or do I have to do the upgrade from boot , I can ftp in to the box and have channels running cccam and newcam with plugins but cant do an upgrade . cheers

Hi all has anyone been able to scan the new transponder 12344 H 29500 3/4 I have added to my transponder list but no channels found , has anyone got a channel list they have been able to add this to and scan cheers.joint10
