I am requesting here who has DM800HD pvr with REV.M tuner kindly share photos of your tuner with clear component shown and also if you have to know how about checking of voltage with multimeter please share with me.

DM800HD is so expensive machine in our country and even it is too old no one cam use it except CS businessman. .e.g normal UHD china box available in 3000PKR and dreambox which has china clone market price is about 15000 to 20000PKR. and it is not user friendly infact. so no chance to find replacement items even i search for SIM but fails. i try to check voltages but mostly all voltages are ok.

Yes it shown tuner "Alps BSBE2 (DVB-S2) 801A" and Tuner type is Rev-M , i check both while remove it shown empty and when insert it shown proper tuner model and i select satelite go to sat finder and it shown LNB strength and signals too and instantly lock signals. but i put exact polarity the tuner lock sign gone. anyways i go to manual tp search add tp and try to search. no program found........

I done it two times with old merlin software which has 39 to 40mb almost with old 82 second stage boot loader. using dreamup 1.3.3.7 and it almost takes 45 min on serial port. at the end all are done successfully. not shown any bad sector. but still when i try new one same error. i just like to ask. can i use original firmware with BSR enable or clone. because i use clone because my box is clone.

no for this image you need Clone Bootloader SSL 84D unrar it

Send ipk file via FTP (via DCC or FileZilla) to tmp> / var / temp

after over telnet:

Flash image with bad sector recovery and you will recover a lot of flash memory. Then reboot and flash again image.

kindly recommend me best sector recovery app. i use optiflasher pro but they never count any bad sector.

How to install it on linux VPSserver x64 ubuntu/debian ?

The problem is now out of my sense.

Box only download less then 50mb software.

i run both latest with 58mb and old 48mb software with optiflasher pro on sector recovery option old file 48mb done. new was stuck at end

wait for an hour.. stuck.....

tunner stop working. no error message but cant save and lock channels. when go to sat finder. signal ok 95% to 100% LNB strength shown ok . lock box split some times ok some times not. but when go to manual search enter configuration then stry to search. nothing found....

i need a proper working software which remove all bad sectors from nand flash

i am facing the same problem. my box first goes on partition bad sector error 3, and then i use a original image to fully clean memory the upgrade is successful and while webif shown rebooting .... the box stuck on error NO CA FOUND" then i use a USB2RS232 cable and a Null modem cable with only 3 points connected 3-2 : 2-3 : 5-5 . and dream-up or NCF application and now box respond " Wrong boot response.

1. Connect DM with Dream Up with RS 232 cable (Version worked for me 1.3.3.7)

3. Check recovery bad sector in extra

Always use Clean light Image like Merlin which is mostly 38MB without addons and keys

1. Let it complete it will take time but relax.

2. if it shows again at the end near finishing point that it still has error then Use any previouse version of Dream UP i tested 133 and 132 . again start from begining

its sure it will recover it.

IF IT DOESNT SHOW ANY ERROR IN UPDATING

then it means flash is not corrupted its just giving error due to bad image mostly the modified .

Now its so easy Let it also complete

When its finished reboot and again set the IP with front panel upgrade and open Browser and install Original Pli image

Keep in mind if ur box is clone only the original image which can erase ur whole flash

1. ur box will go NO CA ERROR .

2.Never mind Search Ferret posts of solving No CA FOUND TOOLS

3. use this tool and re alive ur box .

4. Now again send SSL first with browser and send any ur desired image .

5. Now the Box is ready for u

where we have no rs232 port on your computer, or DreamUp crashes all the time with bad sectors error which can not be repaired.

First DM800 off.

Second we press on the chassis power / power plug at the same time / procedure how to upload image ... /

Third STOP - DHCP - IP to display ...

4: Start**** Run**** telnet [ip Dreambox]**** Enter

5: We are in the BIOS of our Dreambox.

6: Set the picture as that is an option

"Flash Sector Recovery" to "enabled"

7: Then go to the last tab "Exit" and save settings / valid without rebooting the tuner /

8: The next steps are the same as when loading the image, the browser will have the additional option enabled message "bad sector recovery enabled"

9: Or, another message / messages when finding bad sectors in a flash they will be "closed" as we are notified.

10: After uploading the image we "reboot" and already we have a fully functional image.

@teak-won-do as you said i usr original pli image to remove bad sector error via default bootloader webif upgrade and now my box goes to "NO CA FOUND" error and when i connect box with any serial application to fix NO CA FOUND error like optiflasher, NCF or dream-up the box just connect and shown DM800 connected and now all over after a while a additional error " Wrong Boot Response!" and thats it. stuck.. please help what can i do now. guide me step by step which dreamup version or any other app version now get me out from this situation?
