Highlight Mgcamd and stop and disable from startup (i think i set this as default)

    Hightlight cccam and press start

Your line should become active and channels showing

    lol annie,

I had problems with 2.6 and got 2.7 working on me duo??? Strange one!

Using 2.6 kept getting bad error number or the like!

2.7 working fine on Duo....havent tried solo2 yet

The MrGmx image was based on the Beta Version of Vix that was released when the Solo2 came out....there were a few issues between Vix and Vu which led to a delay in Vix releasing a image!

As you can imagine a lot of Users were shocked and Thankfully a Vix Image was released a few days after but in BETA state only! Everything was back to normal shortly after that so an Update of this Image is probably best!

Either try Tens Backup (thinks can be changed added - bootlogos, plugins e.t.c) or i will re-upload the backup image with the latest version

Nope those boxes a closed source so the only addons/extras will come from the box supplier itself so to speak!

There last update (months ago lol) they added the youtube and youporn plugins.....but that is probably about there limit!

Like Muso said, i think for Euro/Other sats you may get some more info out of epg....for standard sly uk just now n next :(

Get yourself a Enigma2 box and then the goodies will be open for you to play with

i would imagine as you wish to add some more info/functionality you may have to edit/look at the cool-epg code itself to add a feature like that?

Most of the Images have a built in EPG....vix for example....so IMO cooltv guide doesn't appeal like it used to...added to that the costs the author was asking for lol

So either get in contact with Author, look for the actual code for that plugin and see if you can add to it there....or look at a different EPG built into the Images and see if that
    will give you more options?

Failing that someone with a bit more knowledge of the plugin may offer some assistance

    50cent.......:snicker:....G Unit! lol

Its not really a case of which one does best, they both work the same...any or almost all recent version will work so choose any!

There are auto scripts on the forum that install OS and Cams for both Debian and Ubuntu so look at them 1st!

If you have any errors just re-install OS and start again but if you follow the steps you should be fine!

Configs, Connection speeds and users will all slow up your server but unless you plan to Get Rich or Die Trying lol.....and operate a PS with loads of connections you should be ok!

    Any problems post back!

Meet MeCam, The $50 Surveillance Drone That Will Watch You Wherever You Go Next Year

Have you always wanted a tiny robot that hovers behind you, documenting your every move, but don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on a lumbering UAV or a quadcopter so noisy it can’t join you inside fancy restaurants? Of course you have, because it’s pretty clearly the coolest part of living in a self-inflicted Orwellian police state. Well, your long wait is getting close to over with the announcement of MeCam, a tiny, digital camera-equipped quadcopter that will follow you around and upload pictures and videos of you to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and more in real time. Even better? The MeCam is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, and should retail for just $50 when it comes to market early next year, meaning you’ll never again have to worry about living an unexamined life.

With a planned launch date of early 2014, the MeCam is one ambitious little piece of equipment from tech company Always Inn***ting, which plans to license the tech to other companies rather than produce the copters itself. Equipped with a small digital camera, the copter won’t need a remote control, but will instead respond to voice commands. It can also be set in a simple ‘follow mode,’ to keep pace with — and tabs on — its owner. Like a puppy, if puppies hovered over your shoulder making an eerie buzzing noise and recording everything you do.

It’s makers brag that the little copter carries 14 sensors to help keep it stable and maintain smooth shooting so your life doesn’t always look like a scene from some bad found footage horror movie, and boasts a sound filter that keeps audio clear as well. If all of that sounds like a lot to ask for an MSRP of $49… well, it is, but I guess we’ll all find out together if those promises are too good to be true.

Here’s the thing that worries us about MeCam — once this hits the market, we’re going to be about thirty seconds from someone hacking it to follow other people, or do surveillance of certain areas, or any number of things that are less wholesome than simply having a personal surveillance drone follow you around and upload your daily activities to the Internet for public consumption, which, let’s face it, isn’t all that wholesome to begin with.

That said, the technology to do those things is already out there, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing — in fact, it’s already helping fathers keep track of their sons on the way to the bus stop, which worries us less than the pretty much inevitable tracking your ex-girlfriend work to which it will no doubt be put. While MeCam will make those sorts of shenanigans cheaper and easier to get up to, you can’t really fault it for that, as it is… kind of the whole point of technological progress. Don’t hate the game of cheap drones, in other words — be creeped out by the legions of skeeves who will no doubt be putting MeCams and homebrewed devices like it to use in unseemly fashion.

That said, if we could get one of these that also had access to the Internet and headlines from the future, maybe it wouldn’t be all bad? Oh, also, it should talk to us in the voice of Billy West.

    :firework:

Everything you need to know is on here mate.....just a bit of digging and reading!

I presume you have a channel list installed? if you have and they are still out of sly order you can do to things!

Use DreamboxEdit and manually change the channel numbers.....long and pain if you not sure what you doing
    http://linuxsat-support.com/ch…dit-latest-version-3.html

    or use the plugin autobouquets

Follow the steps in the link below and it should set you channels to sly order and local order (depending on which you use)
    http://linuxsat-support.com/en…uquets-e2-28-2e-beta.html

    You next issue......

You can use a number of FTP clients to connect to your box....you box will have an IP and password...use this when using filezilla or DCC see like below for DCC
    http://linuxsat-support.com/wi…enter-latest-version.html

Your Config files if you wish to use box for server will be placed in various locations.....all detailed in the forum, any lines depending on cam using...(mgcamd or Cccam) will go in usr/keys and /etc respectively!

Dcc works like a normal windows program.....navigate to folder location on left (box) and navigate to file location on right (PC) > copy from one screen to the other!

    Shout back if any problems

yep buddy, any changes made in Oscam Webif will stick/be made! Just takes the boredom out of dos like format/basic editor lol

If you have it setup correctly it should update about 3/4 weeks before due date,

If you have just setup leave it over night on a premium channel and it should update itself

    Yes you can...

EnigmaTV (pc) and Idreamx (mac) will allow you to do this.....

There is a panel within each to set this up, if i recall you need another dns addy and you need to open a port of your choice up in router to allow outside browsing

That should get you started...if you get stuck post back and i will try and get it up and running from here and give steps

You should only have to flash once buddy! Why a few times?

I'd probably start again mate tbh flash image and then add a channel list then setup crossepg from Vix menu!

you will probably find it works next time....too much playing can ruin the stew lol
