Yes if you know the person giving you the share and they give you an extra hop _ Pay servers generally dont give additional hops.

What ISP and what router ?
The way i read your post is saying that your sat box works ok connected to your router but the same box connected to a friends router doesn't function the same and suffers from freezing ect ?

Are you talking about the router(s) itself ?

The Oscam on Vix feeds is "old". Have you tried a newer one? Just place the mips binary in softcam folder, chmod 755 and it will work.
Okay so i tried latest OScam with same results :23_002: "unsupported card version" V2.
So this card will only be used in box they sent with it ¬ Which is rubbish but still gives me a picture !
Roll on Friday when canal D+ spain box comes ¬ Hopefully i can make that work ?

i'm using tm2t with oscam direct off ViX feeds > Still no wiser if its V1 or V2 .

you should find an auto oscam script for ubuntu server _
Upload files to correct directory _ ie Temp
Then execute install command.

Display MoreECMs here have been up and down between 0.099 and 0.255 dependent on the channel. Nat Geo has been the worst for me.
To be honest with how sh*te the programming has been on $ky for the last few days i couldn't care less what happens to it. All i've had all weekend is 600 channels of repeats and other sh*te. They are under the impression that if it does go off that everyone will come flooding back, to be honest if this weekend was anything to go by i don't think things are going to plan out like they think.

pic looks like a zone2 *** dish to me so your gonna want a 1meter for your motor and i concur with nano with regards mounting _ just get some t@k brackets and replace at your current location ( no need for new cable run) !
a basic motor setup will cost little _
I use a motorised set-up alongside my standard mini dish _ that way a twin tuner box can record from 28e while watching from another sat !

A decent bracket set-up can take a 20ft pole potentially allowing you to do away with that i saw log pole in your garden that currently hosts your 100 element high gain terrestrial antenna,
A 20ft pole of your gable looks like it would be higher from the deck anyway -
Get a decent aerial/sat rigger round to survey it mate.

If your upgrading do just that and start with a 60cm dish and add 2and LNB to receive Astra1 _
Next upgrade would be 80cm dish and 3 lnb aiming at 13e 19e and 28e,
After that an 80 can be used for 5 lnbs and Various combinations of satellite But at this point you ask youself how much i'm spending on LNB's i could just buy a motor for my 80cm dish and get practically something from ALL the satellites on your visible arc,
Go motorised _ A decent setup can be hidden round the back of your house if you dont (or Mrs) want a "big dish" on the front.

these movements apply only if you know the dish elevation is low on the easterly satellites.
Do you get a better signal by lifting the dish slightly in the current position on east satellites your answer is yes !

You need DVB-T tuner _ T for terrestrial UHF band 400mhz-800mhz > S for satellite 950mhz-2150mhz
sometimes T includes VHF band too 50 mhz - 250mhz that way they can use for Cable with vhf
