You can use either oscam or sbox for the rom180, and send N line to CCcam
I would only use oscam and give C line

Why do you want to use that version of CCcam ?
-
Setanta pack, Sly IT & jsc all for less than slyUK
I think you have it spot on there :)

could u give a tut or how to use this. as in how to get it to work. Is it a case of ftp the complet file to your pc server etc.
Cheers
There are a lot of tutorials here in the CSP section
You will need to read them all, there is no quick tut ! -
I thought it was more to do with the fact that one could be updating the cache when the request was made.
That can only happen if there are a set of different users on each CSP, with the same users on each one the requests will always go to the card if not in cache.
I was referring to a situation where CSP1 fails then CSP2 runs as normal so client boxes experience no problems.Doing it any other way then I would assume it is to build up a huge cache, but for what ? .......I think we all know why some want a huge cache !
-
I read somewhere that two instances of CSP, as opposed to one, even with passing cache to each other significantly increase the 'cache-hit' rate
Bowman often discussed 2 instances of CSP running alongside each other, sharing cache, and where each client box would have a line from each CSP
The reasoning behind this was if one failed the other was there as backup. -
Why would you need to ?
One CSP on a local pc is more than enough to handle multiple caids and unlimited connectors and users.
The only problems one instance of CSP will ever face are hardware failure, setup issues and bandwidth limitation. -

Your max cache wait is too high for that profile lower it to 200ms and try not to have any spaces in your configs
Quote<max-cache-wait>1500 ms</max-cache-wait>
And yes if 2 boxes on the same channel the 1st one will give you an "F" flag the 2nd and any other after will hit the cache and flag "C"
But only if they are the same sid, remember there are 3 or 4 different sly sports 1 etc etc -
You should have this line in Every profile
<newcamd listen-port="12345">
Change the "12345" for the port you use to share out on
Every profile should have a different port
As ive said get rid of cccam in there, use oscam to read your card, give 3 connection lines to csp from it to maximise your cache potential and give each friend an N line
That's the best way to run csp ;)
-
See just above that where you will find more important info, well at least I think so anyway ;)
ECM forwards: <<< this is forwards to your oscam/card
ECM cache hits: <<< this is the amount of cache hits you are getting -
That is a common java problem, open your .xml and save it without making any changes, does it save ?
Next try to add the Tring profile but set it to false before you save.I would recommend re-installing java to sort your problem.
-
No, any and all changes are made on the fly, if you add another profile it will only save if it is in the correct syntax
Don't forget to save your current config before making any changes -
Sorry to jump right in here but I don't see any benefit in using oscam > csp > cccam > client box
oscam is a proxy too, so imo you read card with oscam and give an N or C line to client box
or
oscam to read card > csp > client box
The latter is my preferred option

Hi,
i got a problem, how can i block some channels for some of my users ?? i tried to make 3 profiles with the same network-id and ca-id but this is not working.
1. You can't block individual services in csp, it was designed to share everything from the profile you connect to.
2. You can't have more than 1 instance of the same caid. -
