Some iptv streams were in hevc format... I could just get the audio but not the picture... Any fix to this?

I have just added an iptv list for testing...

On my pc very little interruptions using VLC player but through image it freezes after few seconds and have to change channel.

Is there a setting to fix this?

Toysoft, this image is great.

Newenigma2 was Ok but this image can handle iptv better.

Today I tried a test line with iptv and worked fine . But for me there is no better picture than satellite reception.

Streamrelay works perfect as well and this image can even handle my configuration of fixed and rotating dish much faster.

Hi Toysoft... I assume this downloads the same dependencies listed in the plugins by pressing the green button.... correct ?

The version to workon this image is from blindspot as Panda informed in another thread... e2iplayer discussion .

I manged to install it and decided to do an update from e2iplayer panel and I had zadmario's installed. Youtube and player were working fine but no movies were streaming so I deleted the iptv folder in extensions folder and tried to install all from scratch. The ipk file from blindspot could not install even though I deleted all as refused to install as the version was still on image. So I just copied the iptv folder again to extensions....

However, now when I goto plugins I cannot see e2iplayer icon and getting error no module named 'requests'....

I added you in a conversation with Panda....

I added the folders as you informed me Panda and then configured the paths from e2iplayer configuration settings. In e2iplayer configuration setting there is a menu for proxies configuration. Its in this menu where I can change the folder paths. The issue is solved.

In e2iplayer there is a also a menu called buffering configuration. Now I have changed this to media/usb/buffer.

Sorted.... I had to change the folder paths in proxies configuration settings.

Before I changed only the buffering path to media/usb/IPTVCache in Buffering configuration settings. Is it ok to keep this folder for buffering. as well?

Just to clarify some other settings... the update server is under Zadmario though I installed the blondspot76 repo....I even updated the version online.

In media/usb, I do not have a folder named Picon.

Is there any movie link that work?

I am not sure re folders...

In configuration settings I have changed buffering and download folder from hdd/movie to /media/usb/

I am getting error re no such file or directory... hdd/iptvcache/cookies why still looking for hdd ?

Do I have to rename folder in image?

In /media/usb/ I have a folder IPTVCache which has files in it... from a previous version.

Do I need to add other folder named Cache and another named buffer? Do not think so right?

I deleted the old files in iptvcache folder and tried again but still same error....

In /media/usb/ I can see the folder iptvplayer rootfs but its empty.

Well at least at the moment I can play downloaded movies from previous versions....and youtube is opening live streams...

Had to change oscam config file to open Polish canal + channels....

In another thread I asked about e2iplayer but Panda informed me that due to python version e2iplayer is not supported on this image. Is there a similar plugin in the feed?

I am trying to install the iptv player from scratch on openpli 8.

The folder iptvroot is remaining empty and could not see the plugin installed...

Tried the link from Zadmario but refusing connection at the end...

Re plugins, I am not seeing any changes though I changed bcm file.... maybe I am missing something here....

Is there any direct feed for an oscam version that supports streaming?

Toysoft, I have not yet updated my image. I was just going to do this now via dreamup but when I tried to flash the image, a box with a notice ..calculating checksum appeared and could not continue. I will be trying with japhar flasher.

The current openpli image though limited with addons is very fast to respond to my remote. A few years ago,I tried to install open atv but that caused delays. Software was too much for the DM8000. This openpli is really great and want to discover more of it.

Regarding the SSL patch for the Japhar image to work on my original box, if I decide to go back to another image like newenigma2, will I be able to upload it due to the new SSL patch?

Today, I was going to install the image for my 8000 with patch via usb to serial. However, again I am having the error cannot open comport on both my laptops. I have the latest driver installed ... Tried installing the driver again but no solution......

Not using web interface to install image until this is solved. I remember windows did an auto update on prolific but could not roll back driver.. it just keeps installing this...

Re bcm file that I have to replace does that work on my original image ? I replaced it to check but seems all remained the same re plugins to download...

I have not flashed it yet.... but the nfi is the same one that caused the problem to my box... so by ssl it solves the issue... interesting :)

Tried the file that I have to replace in the image I currently have but seems it does not read it....

So I have to install Japhar image on my original box without rebooting I flash ssl then reboot and replace a file...

To do this I have to use serial as with web interface it reboots I think....
