    I did copy the mips version and renamed it oscam-emu attrubutes set to 755 in bin folder but not clearing any channel. I think this version needs webif correct? The config oscam file is for oscam version 11718 as well....

    Panda the problem is solved....cable connected with box. Thanks.


    Even my dreambox is up and working....


    My question is regarding the openpli 8 image in which there is a problem with webif without which I think the oscam 11718 will not work...


    I cannot find oscam 11718 in the feed neither...

    Panda, once I installed those but did not work for me... I installed a package from windows catalogue....


    Dreambox is back to life :)


    Actually not sure that I needed to install ssl first....

    Just to let you know that somehow I manged to install the right driver for usb to serial connection....got from windows catalogue but the one at the top , the most recent, did not work for me...


    Now the next step is connection with my box....will let you know...keep fingers crossed.

    I am connecting all as I used to do to flash with a usb to serial cable..so ethernet cable is connected to my laptop as well. Usb to serial to connect to Box.


    No I am not using wifi. Its a direct connection. Comport is opening so windows driver should be Ok. As stated above what I am finding strange is that whichever usb port I use on my laptop, its always comport 6.

    I used this cable several times....however, each time I am switching on the box the error message keeps showing...and there is no connection...


    Have no clue what to try...


    Could the worst scenario have happened to my box?

    Re cable it has to be a serial right not null cable...


    SSL you mean the original second stage loader..?


    Is that the same as I have on my original DM 800 SE? Its version is 84.

    I tried also without internet cable but the same error is being displayed,


    The original A8P version has webif problem and software manager missing...I thought that this was an update to correct this for my box..

    I tried with rs232 (serial cable) and using dreamup but could not access dreambox, the error is still displayed....


    Dreambox has to be connected as well with internet correct?
