Hi Toysoft the above link for 7020 v1 is opening version 8.

Today the software stalled and when I install again it is becoming very slow to respond and freezes...

I think its a memory problem.. is there any software to check hardware issues?

In order to do a full backup for 8000HD which file I have to choose from the zip file?

For 7020HD, I chose backup_dm7020hd.sh

And after the backup should I delete the dreambox folder containing the extracted files from the zip file?

Thanks but the same issue happened on another 7020... Seems to be either a problem with 7020 chip or something else in the firmware is causing this.

Mine is version 1.

About a month ago, I have sent a full backup image to Toysoft and when he installed it on his 7020, the same issue occured.

Cannot understand what the power suppply has to do to solve this. Box freezes only on streamrelay channels.

Hi, I have dm7020 with opelpli9star image.

Installed oscam version 11898-803. In /ect/tuxbox/config, file attributes on installation are set to 755. Should I change them to 644?

Been having freezes on streamrelay channels for more than a year on this receiver. This version seems the most stable but after an hour or less, the box freezes when on a streamrelay channel. (An issue with various oscam versions for my 7020, irrelevant of the image. There is a whole thread about this in this forum) .

Other receivers 800se and 8000HD no problems at all . Is is not a sever issue.

Are there maybe any settings I have to edit manaully to sort this?

Hi, I have installed icam version 10 (the latest I assume) on my dreambox 7020 running openpli 12.3 image.

On oscam config I have the following:

[streamrelay]

stream_relay_user = stream

stream_relay_enabled = 1

stream_ecm_delay = 1

stream_relay_buffer_time = 0

stream_ecm_delay = 0

stream_relay_ctab = 098C,098D

stream_relay_port = 17999

stream_client_source_host = 0

Why is the stream_ecm_delay 1 and 0.... I thought this should be written just once....

Tried this image and the box freezes when on a streamrelay channel. I have to switch it off from the back switch. The freezing occurs after 10 or 30 or 45 mins. It is random when it happens as listed in a thread with this issue on other images like openpli8star openpli9star and newenigma2.

Mrlu have you tried this image on a streamrelay channel for an hour or so with no freezing issues?

For the rest the image is great.

I have tried other oscam versions on openpli9star, switched off hdmi cec as I thought this could be causing an issue but still freezing on streamrelay channels. Tried other servers that are working fine with streamrelay on my 800se and 8000hd but on 7020 they keep freezing.

Tried even the image by mrlu openpli 12.3 and the same happened.

Toysoft as you told me that the same happened on your 7020 with my image backup, I will opt out that my box is faulty.

Really no clue what is happening...

I unpacked it with the tar command...

Now I did as you told me...

dos2unix *.sh .... (none happened)

but then after writing again

./backup_dm7020hd.sh /media/usb... it worked...

It is backing up the image.

Have no idea what the first command did but it worked.

I had to change attributes of dm7020hd.sh from 644 to 755 as I got permission denied and I am attaching the telnet messages so far...

I have the folder dreambox with all the scripts in /media/usb as I do not have a hdd.

I rebooted but no idea how to make the full backup using the unzipped files.

There is an autobackup option in the image but this does not make the full backup as far as I know. It was in the image before unzipping the file and rebooting.

How do I run the script for my box?

Do I have to choose backup.sh?

The backup tool is in the image as I do not have access to the box right now.

I do not see any deterioration of the capacitors shown in attachments.

To anyone in this forum scrolling this thread would like to know if you have a 7020HD version 1 clearing streamrelay channels. My box freezes. Either it is an issue with my box or with the model.

This freezing occurs both with newenigma2 image and openpli8 or 9star.

Streamrelay works perfect on 800se and 8000HD boxes.

Yes, my 800se works perfectly fine ....so the problem is not the cpu unless it is faulty.

I did untick the network. Suppose this does not make any difference except for increasing the time to upload the image.

However, using the option to recover bad sectors caused the box to freeze now even when streaming a local station in a bouquet. Streamrelay problem was not solved either.

So I did flash it again normally without the option to check for bad sectors.

Never had such a lengthy issue without finding the cause of the problem. I am suspecting that the problem is the memory.
