This morning I tried the online update for my openpli8star image on my original DM8000HD.
The box keeps re booting due to software problem...
Last time I did a software update the same issue happened and had to program all from scratch.
Now, I have to reprogram it from scratch.
What do you think is causing this issue?

Re Settings Serviceapp, I am attaching settings...
For now these settings seem to keep streamrelay channels from freezing the receiver.
However, I am not sure if they are the right settings as enigma playback system is set to off.
Problem remained even though I changed to oscam-emu...
Either some settings in image or maybe server...but why receiver should freeze?
My 8000 is Ok and have same streamrelay settings as 7020HD.
Even with the new version of channel using exteplayer3 , the receiver is freezing on streamrelay channels....not always but I have to switch it off...
I am trying oscam-emu to see if it makes any difference...
Or may be need to check exteplayer3 settings?
Is seems to me that with old style streamrelay channel list tuner is not blocked as this allows zapping.
Display MoreStreamrelay (play with streamrelay) does not need to be adjusted in channel settings because it is by default. After copying the whitelist (etc/enigma2), did you scan the Astra 19.2 satellite and make reboot. You no longer need the old userbouquet, but open sky channels directly from the channel list.
No problem with zap to another channel or package.

Re channel list I did not scan, I downloaded one...I suppose it does not make any difference...
Whitelist has attributes set by default to 644.
I am now clearing channels from channels with sat scan format....( Service:...) ...the problem before guess was that I renamed file to whitelist from whitelist_streamrelay...
However, when I change to some particular channels using streamrelay, the rest of the channel list becomes dim and if I then zap to another package not using streamrelay, I have to change it again to clear.
I have added these two lines in config
stream_emm_enabled = 1
stream_ecm_delay = 0
Setting in etc/ enigma2 was Ok.
Rebooted did not clear....then loaded a new channel list and it cleared...
Do not know actually what was causing the problem....
But issue solved...hope it does not freeze...
By tuner locked you mean that when you zap to another channel not using streamrelay it does not clear right? You would have to change channel again.... I used to do so on my newenigma2 image.
However, on openplistar image when using a streamrelay channel list in the old format, zapping from a steamrelay channel to another channel not using streamrelay was clearing instantly (tuner not locked if I can use this phrase)
Will check tomorrow as receiver is in another place...
As far as I know I have the same settings as for openpli image on 8000HD.... but will check these settings...
In settings config.streaming.stream_ecm=True... where is this setting?

I have just added the whitelist... and the channel list which I already had from satellite scan....
However, to clear via streamrelay I have to select channel menu play with streamrelay...no big deal...but I know that with whitelist they should clear straight away... no idea what is causing this issue....

Before posting I tried another server....
However, the openplistar image is freezing after 15 minutes or so on a streamrelay service and have to switch off receiver.
The channel list on the 7020hd is in the old format ... in other words I do not have a whitelist in the channel settings. However, I do not think that this is what is causing the issue.
I have the latest image built installed.
Have no idea...do I have to choose files from zip?
In the image there is auto backup.....what does it backup?
I am looking after a full image backup with all the settings I did including channel list.
I did a fresh install with the latest...
For the moment it is fine without the wifi dongle...

Oh... so it was a bad idea to uninstall the wireless plugin....
Will do that someday...
I found my pid:vid of dongle and found corresponding drivers but could not manage to connect it to box...that is why I tried the above...

I uninstalled the Wireless lan plugin which comes with the image with the intention to re install it. However, I cannot find it on the list of system plugins to download.
I tried opkg update and opkg list | grep wireless but have no clue what to install...

I highly recommend this or similar images from openpli to anyone who owes similar receivers.
These images though they offer almost all what you expect from new receivers, it keeps running swiftly as the image is tailored for its processor.

I would like to save a full backup of the image with my current settings...nfi.... so that I do not have to go through all the settings again if I need to do a fresh install.
Can this file be saved through the backup option in the image?

I had to do a fresh install....on opelpli8star...
This was due trying to configure my usb wifi dongle....
In the image there are various drivers installed for this dongle...even the one I was looking for r8712u
Should I uninstall the other drivers like 8188eu and 8192c and 8192cu and 8192eu.... could they be conflicting as I could not bring the dongle to communicate with the 7020HD.

Actually I read that before posting but was diffucult for me to follow...
SOC and CSA have no idea what they are...
If I understood the thread, Decryption is performed by the receiver hardware instead of Oscam?
Needs more data processing maybe...?
