It could be possible that if you flashed the RIGHT compatible image with your box, that the sim is defective and needs replacement.
Post here a photo of the box open, where we can see the sim, and a photo of the Message shown on the Black/White frontal LCD screen. Just to be sure we give you the right tips.

Dear openPLi, if you say this images are not genuine, then all other images from you are even not genuine. This image is based on all openPLi Source from Github and has no backdoor or other stupid things.
Like replacing the sim in a Mobile phone. Turn off box, Remove the old one and insert the new sim.
Seeing your description, you have an old sim that is stuck to the old Kernel, so to use the new Kernel 3.2 and IPTV etc, you will need to remove the old sim and replace/upgrade the box to the Japhar sim, you will find it on the link below,
Then your box will fly, as when you bought it, like a new box, I done the same upgrade to my DM500HD, I love it now ;o)

If you take the SAME image that works with HDR Videos, get it patched for your box/sim it will work normally... without the need of the ORIGINAL DRIVER.
Original drivers WILL NOT WORK with a Clone sim... FYI. You assumed this wrongly.

mmm if this is the case why I can enjoy HDR videos on my dreambox dm900 with BA using openatv 6.2 original and when I used images from clone sim 230 don't have this option on the video menu even if the image is update and no HDR videos when playing files, also on my box showing the latest driver with date , on sim 230 image only old drivers

Ferrari Sim can run only Kernel 2.6, and not new Kernel 3.2. You need to upgrade to Japhar-Ferrari sim if you want to run on your Ferrari box the new images Kernel 3.2 with IPTV such as OpenPLi 6.x.
