    Has anyone opened up a support ticket on oscam regarding the issue with tiers not being read properly?


    Its not a site a frequent tbh because i dont have to but its worth opening one i think.


    There is also other issues i can see on these caids at present with what i believe to be high ecm times causing blackness on certain channels still operating atm but i have not seen any logs or info on the matter from peeps who own these cards so far.

    I had a similar problem many moons ago with ubuntu and after a switch to debian the problem was solved.

  • OPENATV CCcAM

    You are best running oscam with your server cfg set as cccam protocol for the reader/line, or mgcamd with cccamd file present and an edited mg_cfg


    Anyway if its cccam you want then it should work as long as it not an arm reciever as there is no architecture for that cam in arm recievers,in your case it wont be so did you download the cam from the download server or was this installed manually by way of ipk to tmp?


    Another thing to check is attributes in usr/bin and ensure the cccam bin has 755 properties,CCcam.cfg should have 644 although 755 is also ok.


    You can also try this file i have attached in tmp and install if you have not already done so.

    Its off topic but its possible to cs a VM card from any location on the planet providing there is an active internet connection.


    My point was is that you cannot just stick any old VM card in a card reader for testing without the correct boxkey and rsa key which has to be extracted from the reciever the card is paired too.

    Not that ingenious, all thats been used on your neighbours is a standard ground mount and a few bolts, cable also not tied and no amalgamating tape:-(


    Anyway i use shelley brackets all the time, albeit as a temporary measure when buildings are recieving new cladding, with the dish being put onto the scaffolding but unfortunately you have a (raven) dish so the bracketry is quite awkward and shelleys(see pic) wont work.


    However i think looking at the line of sight you should just be able to drill your bracket onto the brickwork if you dont mind that, would be at the other side of where your neighbours is i mean just inside your varanda.

    Are you for real mate?


    If you are having blackhole or open atv software issues then that is most likely user error as developers on both images you mention are solid on what they do...and credit to them for their efforts i might add.


    At the moment i have issues myself with open atv but not to your extent!!!!


    You seem to want a cherry on top with nice skins which is an easy task you may well believe in but why dont you edit/add to your own personal images?


    Also menu changes....why??? developers choose their own setup so why do you feel the need to change that

  • Signal break up issues since recent audio fix

    Thanks for the reply,s guys, Compo yes i have a standard VM issue f type compression and cable stripping tools at my disposal, i also use rg59 cabling/current technetix splitters and all my connections are nipped up past finger tight ! I even checked for water ingress at the termination unit outside(seal already broken lol) but all fine.


    I also have a ROVER MASTER STC signal tester which i use for work that tests catv signals to a certain degree with limited spectrum analysis and all is ok on both locations i am experiencing problems in so its weird.


    I first noticed the issue at home on my tm twin 4k after i performed an online upgrade from open atv 6.0 to 6.1 so i decided to perform a fresh flash from usb WITHOUT a settings backup and the problem remained.


    Got me stumped and if memory serves VIX is based on Open PLI which was the next image i was going to look into if my box accepted it but i tried VIX latest from the main website and the box has not skipped a beat, however my sisters box(xsarius pure HD) is limited image wise so all i can use is Open atv or vix4... open atv a disaster but vix4 showed improvements but just one channel seems worst of all (Sky Sports Main Event HD)


    Not sure if there is something going on in my net id atm but hopefully it will pass.

  • Signal break up issues since recent audio fix

    Hi, has anyone noticed picture breakups since the latest audio dvb fix with latest images.


    I have a technomate tm twin 4k and i noticed the issue with open atv so i tried vix and the issue is still there with catv channels, my sister has an xsarius pure e2 box and suffers the same issue at a different location.


    Bit of a strange one but i,m not sure if my storage device i used is to blame or whether this recent fix has created another issue.


    Appreciate your thoughts guys.

    After some faffing around/updates and configuration VIX seems ok on my twin 4k techomate, so it seems my problem lies with open atv?

    Its a strange one thats got me thinking cap on, my cap aint a bright spark but i have no local Sly card so cant have a play.


    Has any of you guys tried latest sbox to see if the card has any changes with mgcamd G: { 01 } in the cfg file or oscam aswell i suppose as emu.


    Another strange thing minimeentertainments is sly talking about fraud because all sly 28,2 channels have gone from cs, the only ones left are the ones we have been told are not affiliated through sky.


    Years ago they apparantly used fingerprint technology used by another provider called nova at the time to track cards used on cs with users stupidily or unknowingly sharing their cards on public servers.


    The technology used was an extremely high speed and high tech camera which read serial numbers from the tv screen that the human eye couldn't detect, very simple way they used too which was buying subs online which ended up with terms and condition threat letters from sly and i even heard of visits from what we would call suited and badged nds police lol but this was back in 2010 i think so i,m a tad surprised at that on all levels tbh, however re-sharing cards was what we all thought could be causing it back then which i never done personally when i had a local 0963 card years ago but i never recieved any letters,albeit mines was an roi card, although maybe i was just lucky i guess.


    DO NOT send the 0963 card back to sly, burn it or chop it up and fire it in the bin and if they make contact again then tell them you dont have sly so fook off

  • VU DUO 2 UPDATE CONFIG HELP

    1. Download Image
    2. Unzip the zip file and you will have vuplus folder and under the folder, you have another folder named after the model of your VuPlus set.
    3. Copy vuplus folder (including all the sub folders and files in it) to root folder of an USB memory.
    4. Turn off your VuPlus set and insert the USB memory to USB port on the set.
    5. Turn on the set.

      • For Duo: Update is done when complete message is displayed on the VFD.
      • For Solo: Update is done when green light blinks on the front panel.
      • For Uno: Push Ch- button when message shows. Update is done when complete message is displayed on the VFD.
      • For Ultimo: Push - button when message shows. Update is done when complete message is displayed on the VFD.
      • For Solo2: Push power button when message shows. Update is done when complete message is displayed on the VFD.
      • For SoloSE: Update is in progress when the white light becomes gradually bright and dark on the front panel.
        Update is done when white light blinks on the front panel.

    6. Remove the USB memory and turn off the set and back on.


    Use a backup image like open atv or blackhole if you arent too sure about setups

    Well i got 6.1 atv on via remote of all places, blue button extended online flash and all went well with install and no software update available so i must have the latest software.


    Strange thing is abm 2.8 is still the latest available in download server and some peeps with zgemma boxes report 2.9 abm with atv.
