So, let connect your PC via this router and check if you will be able to browse blocked services on PC via web browser for example Firefox.

Strange question if you want to use buffering mode you need to connect hdd or pen drive storage and set valid path.

If you asking how to add new www service to be able to browse it via IPTVPlayer then you need to wrote parser for this service.

What you want to explain?

If you will set valid path for cache data in IPTV Player configuration then thumbnails works.

Please check if you have free space in the location which you set as cache folder in the IPTVPlayer configuration

I can compile ffmpeg for 0.9.8 OpenSSL but you must know that manny things will not work with OpenSSL 0.9.8.

Many services need support TLS v1.2 not available in v0.9.8.

So, I am not sure if this have sense.
