I heard broadcom have built a bespoke chip for sly which is in the newer chips and decrypt is done by it

No. I'm a bit worried now. That was posted several days ago and the channels are still down. The SD channels are still fine. How do you think Sly are able to block the HD channels as I thought pairing the card with the Thompson box would prevent Sly blocking the channels? Any idea why the SD channels are fine?
The software has been updated to enable the newer boxes to bock HD sharing and since thomson cannot have the nerwe software they cannnot clear hD
Another vote for vix. By far the easiest to set up with everything integrated - channel list, EPG.

For anyone else who has problems with the PI. Using the very latest build of Wheezy led to network freezes and only way to restart was power down. These could be 30 minutes to an hour and were erratic so no way of knowing.
In the end used wheezy build I first build from last year and touch wood everything is fine now.
It seems to be running now but taking ages to start and its due to this
cs357x: Bind request failed
Any ideas / help?
Done all of the above and still nothing, really frustrating as followed the tutorial to the letter
If you follow this tutorial your in should be in var/local, for oscam to start you should do this sudo nano /etc/rc.local and add at the end before exit 0: /var/local/oscam &
To save it Ctrl and x, Y and enter, this way oscam should stat on boot.
Is it better to use sumo nan or via windup?

If my Oscam binary is usr/bin/local
Change the madhatter path to that?

ANy one PLEASE?
check folder OScam (or your) where are configuration files and oscam bin
check your script /etc/init.d/oscam.sh
Checked /etc/init.d but there is no file called oscam.sh
Oscam binary is in Var/local
and configs are in /usr/loca/etc/
Where are the other two files you mentioned located?
Configs are fine as worked on a old build on pi a mate did - only doing new one as after a software update it stops network after a while. I checked on router when nothing showed and pi was not in attached devices list and went walkies.
Will check those when home but Oscam is in its folder and 755.
Also did the restart bit as well.
Followed this to the letter and got no errors but Oscam is not running for me.
Put my config file sin user/local/etc but nothing
Once this is installed, can you tell me how to update the oscam build on the PI please,
Display MorePretty much the same for users..
Update your oscam to latest version, delete all .css files from config directory & restart
EDIT: I see that is a recent SVN, not sure why that is happening, do you compile your own or download a pre compiled oscam??
Why do you have a hostname?
I run this commands in putty to compile it
cd oscam-svn
svn update
cd build
cmake ..
make
sudo make install
This is my screen shot
How have you set your users up Fellow?

This is on a server with no dvbapi
This is the feedback from DEV
"in actual SVN in built in templates this column doesn't exist"
does it make sense to anyone?
Sounds as if saying label column is no longer in builds? but it is for my STB just not server
