    I flashed the box with black hole..... But then didn't see how to set up abm etc..... So I flashed back the latest vix image...... So far seems to now be ok.... Did seem to have a problem with a tuner getting locked although both tuners are configured properly. But I think this might be resolved now. Thanks

    The server dude has logged in and checked my settings and can't see why it's disconnecting. It was working fine till a few days ago.
    I was starting to think it was something to do with my box or the vix image I was using. I've reflashed the box yet again to the latest image.
    Silly q but I install the cams through the images plug ins. Could I have corrupt cams?


    Any other ideas peeps

  • Remote not working properly through Infra Red extender

    I ended up having to hardboot the box yesterday as the box wouldn't respond to anything and I just had a circle spinning in the top corner. That sorted it out. But next time I'll do what you suggested.


    Not sure if there have been any updates I just flashed the box with the latest vix image last week

  • Remote not working properly through Infra Red extender

    The solo se v2 comes with a infra red extender that plugs into the back of the box.
    When I 1st connected it worked perfect so I was then able to hide the box in 1 of the tv unit shelves. However over the last couple of days it's not working properly and you have to go close to the receiver to use the remote.


    Any ideas what I can do?

    Ok so I did this last night. After I did it I rebooted the box through the menu..... Cam started ok.
    Restarted box again.... Cam started again.


    This morning turn box on. It does an epg refresh at 430..got message to say epg finished but....... Cam did not start... Had to manually start it.


    Watched a recorded program. When this finished and went back to live view..... Cam had stopped again.


    Is it time to look at oscam... Which I've never used before or am I barking up the wrong tree?

    I think i might have fixed it.


    I went into cams, stopped cam, disabled autostart.
    Restarted box
    Back into cam and enabled mg and enabled auto start.
    Restarted box.
    Appears to be ok.
    Will keep those config in case it stops

  • Can't download cross epg

    Just set up my solo SE v2, hdd set etc but can't download crossepg. Keep getting error no dvb-s nims found.
    I'm using Cable and not sat in the UK. I've chosen sly UK open tv 28.2 within opentv providers as that's what I've always done.


    I've seen previous posts on this with no definitive answer as I can't download this even manually via the yellow button as im using vix

    Thanks I think i have managed to resolve it. Tried a different usb lead and did the power down and up thing and it recognized it. Now I can actually set up picons and epg etc

    Thanks the hdd is formatted correctly as I used it with my Solo 2 already.


    I'll try the power down, up option again whixh I think i did try.

    And to confirm if I am using a external hdd via USB as I assume I have to do on the Vu Solo SE V2 I use the above command.
    And this is done while the box is fully up AND hdd connected?
    Do I need to reboot or anything once this is done?
    Will this then display in mount manager?
