Do you know how to turn on debug logs.

If so. Turn on debug logs.

Reboot your gui and go to the software update screen.

Then check your latest debug log which will tell you what this screen is called.

I don't use vix so no idea what this screen is called on VIX (and its been quite a while since I did any skinning work)

Another skin cannot conflict with the xml files in this skin folder. That's a new one to me.

There should be no real reason to do this.

But if it works for you. Then no need for me to worry about it.

Disable timeshift. You can still pause and continue if timeshift is disabled.

In openatv that would be menu > setup > recordings & timeshift > timeshift settings

Are you sure its just not showing a none tuned in channel.

Have you tried pressing menu to see if your menus appear.

No you cannot install APK (android files) on Enigma2 which is mainly based on python and C#.

Best one for free channels

All other plugins on Enigma2 require you to buy an IPTV line. Then install an IPTV player plugin or an IPTV bouquet maker plugin.

What image are you trying to flash onto it.

Being such an old box I probably wouldn't use openatv 6.4

use the mobile phone trick

look at the end of your remote control infrared through your phone camera. See if the buttons are working

abu baniaz do note though for personal preference I changed the alt tag to a title tag.

The title tag will show the text on hover. This makes it easier to see some of the smaller buttons.

This might not be to everyones preference.

Also attached the complete remote mapping for this box. Probably no use to anyone, but I wrote it will looking for the correct usb/video button code. Which was #393. Pretty much the last bloody code

Writing a skin from scratch is not easy at first. Even modifying an existing skin can be confusing.

Are you wanting to write a new skin or modify an existing skin.

It is much simpler if you work off a base skin.

default skin graphics live here

/usr/share/enigma2/skin_default

Create a new folder in

/usr/share/enigma2/

calll it whatever

/usr/share/enigma2/mynewskin

copy skin_default.xml ( /usr/share/enigma2/skin_default.xml) to this folder and rename it skin.xml

copy the inner contents of default skin graphics folder (/usr/share/enigma2/skin_default) to your new skin folder

You now have a new skin that you can play around with.

If its your first skin. Highly recommend you design it in openskindesigner first.

EPGSelection is the screen name you need to look for in that file.

at the bottom of that screen is the above applet code.

Delete this entire line
