I do actually keep meaning to see why metrix works and mine doesn't in openatv 6.1. Now they have stripped this plugin out by default. but I haven't updated my box for a while, so mine still works. ;)

Because metrix is atv's own main skin. And they skin LCDs. I don't.
Quick fix is just to reinstall vfd plugin. Reboot your box then go into display settings.
If its not in the main plugins downloads, there is a copy of it in my dropbox.
VFDControl folder goes in
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins

It's also a good idea to install iptv player even if you don't use it. As on launch that updates all the video codecs and streaming compentents to be the latest. Saves having to do it manually. ;)

Is it a memory problem. Obviously a FHD stream is going to be very memory hungry. Unless you got a good powerful box or a Mag your sat box probably doesn't have the memory or power to handle FHD streams.
Have you got cache flush installed and running. If so when it's beginning to curl over and die, cache flush should kick and clear as much memory as possible.
If you haven't got a top end box, make sure you have a swap file set up too and clear out any unnecessary plugins you don't use.

Usual culprit is windows firewall. First of all repair your firewall.

These sites would probably make more money with a message for a voluntary contribution for server costs instead of you can't view our site because you are using adblocker.
I am a stubborn sucker for these messages. Very rarely I turn off adblocker for a particular site. You can guarantee any site that stops you entering with adblocker is probably showing a huge swamp of adverts. A lot of them adverts will be potential virus exploits. It's terrible user experience. Thats why we use adblocker.
If they won't let me in with adblocker on, then I probably am not going to return to your site. Simple.

32gb kingston micro datatraveler for me.
But saying that I have never had a usb stick not work on my zgemma. Expensive ones, cheap ones, promo ones.
Clean your usb port with a cotton bud, and give it a good blow if its struggling.

ignore setup files.
copy iptvplayer folder over to
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions
reboot your gui.
(i haven't used it for a while, but i think that is correct)

Standard picon sizes are
100x60
220x132
400x240

and if you are using a certain build, which i notice you are forum another from, he uses openatv, so the latest crossepg doesn't work well on openatv.
Either stick with the old crossepg or use epg importer.

A lot of people are using e-channelizer to link iptv to existing channel epgs.
In e-channelizer in the right column open your iptv bouquet by click the little tv icon.
then in the left column search for the channel you want and ctrl drag it onto the appropriate channel.
e-channelizer looks a bit daunting the first time you load it.
But its dead easy. Setup and link it to your box. Read from STB... do what ever you want i.e add picons, link channels etc. then just reupload to STB.
Plenty of guides on the net for e-channelizer.

Still no answers. Bored now. Still no answer. More enticing waffle. Still no amazing secret reveal. More waffle. Now pay $1000 for the secret. Er. Ok. Here is my credit card details.
