Thanks for your input. However I'm pleased to say - Problem solved. It was due to faulty coax connections.

If there was a dead short on the LNB side could that blow a component on the main board or is there short circuit protection?
-
I too have a problem with a Alsat Dark motor. I'd not used it for about a month and when I tried yesterday it was completely dead. No light on LED no movement at all. I tried it on a short coax directly to the STB, still nothing. I'll try it on another box today but does anyone know if there is an internal "fuse" that could have blown?

Yes it does, if you have the correct keys, on the correct channel and they are sending EMMs at the time.

CCcam does not work in Enigma2 on SH4 processor boxes. Use OScam instead.

I have not seen any reports of the new drivers for vu+ enabling powervu decryption. I am sure we would have seen some by now if it was working...
Yes, I've tested the new drivers on my DUO and DUO2 and confirm they do NOT allow PVu without stream relay (DES). -
Your old peers need to to remove your old line from their boxes.
Otherwise you need to change to a new DNS and/or port. -
PVu AU does NOT work with oscam-emu. The EMM stream does not appear to parsed correctly or even at all.

I agree with the first two posters. I have VU+DUO, VU+Solo2 and recently the VU+DUO2. Unless you specifically want the extra features of the DUO2 stick with the the Solo2. It is just as good and a lot smaller.

Well I'm now using OpenPli but I'm fairly sure I always use Settings Type 4 for enigma2 on the newer boxes.

I had a similar problem with one image (I think it was one of the BH ones).
Anyway, it turned out to one of the characters in the bouquet markers. IIRC it was ":" at the start of the marker.
After I removed this from all the markers and replaced it with "=" everything was OK.

Is it not possible to use these parameters in the user file to do what you need?sleep =180
sleepsend = 255 -
i already tried without cacheex but didn't change anything. sometimes they are normal. it just happened after the latest emms it received
I'm sure the EMM issue is just a coincidence. Have you removed the "cacheex peer" you added in post #2?
The symptoms you describe are exactly those caused by cacheex.
For me, cacheex was giving ECM response of ~700-900ms even when I have a full local card which gives ~100ms. Disabling all cacheex peers (especially for 0963) solved it instantly. Some others have reported this too.

This is almost certainly a cacheex problem. Disable cacheex and watch your ECM times return to normal. I had the same problem and this cured it. -
I do not know what you mean by key1 and key2. However, the INS B4 contains the modulus for the RSA decryption of the data in INS BC.
Some of this is then used to prime the buffers used in the camcrypt algorithm. -
RSP for me too

Yes, I managed to get my old Freecom DVB-T USB adapter (25415) to work even though it is not auto-detected. I had to fake it's ID (patch usbtnrsetup.sh file).
Then it worked OK ;) Using BH 2.03. -
Here is the BBC iPlayer standalone fix for oe2.0 users that don't or can't use the Ondemand plugin.
Overwrite your existing 'plugin.pyo' and delete the 'plugin.py' in:
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BBCiPlayer/
Thanks to all involved.

You must also factor in the "learning effect". Each time you do the test (under the same conditions) your performance will improve.

Quite pleased with that! :)
