Hi,

No buddy , 4OD hasn´t worked in a long long time....
have never heard of such a project as I dont think it´s neither possible nor viable/feasible as a WAP...
Why would you want to..???
You can however setup as wlan and share contents , i.e : channels /HDD ... on intranet.
have never heard of any other than enigma on linux STBs...
maybe something slips my mind..so reading up is the path to take..
tank you please dowload
this is wher eyou download from
Quote
to find out which version python it is using TELNET this command:
Quotepython -V
this will tell you
Another thing to take into account is if you are outside the UK/ Ireland then BBC +ITV players don´t work directly from ondemand..
Have you searched for the channels at the end of the main channel lists ??
Did you give it a FULL restart/reboot after installing the IPK ???
its working on BH uno and duo2 without any problems..
As you have already guessed ,,yes everything has been asked and answered bud
use the searchbar for everything you want to know..
for example :
Forum: Satellite Systems - What To Buy - What To Install
Forum: Satellite Setup & Installation (Single Sat, Multi-Sat & Motorised Systems)
Look for DCC and search for the IP..
On the vu go to menu-setup -system- network -adapter settings-network setup
SABUnixF+Solo User Manual
How can you download plugin to your SAB Unix F+ SOLO receiver with USB Stick
thanks for the file could you tell me how I can copy this to my sab unix F +solo with enigma 2 ?
First of all check the date of this post : 10.2013.......
channel frequencies have changed quite a lot since then...
I suggest you look for the most recent changes...
you could try using this channeleditor for your stb
SAB Unix F+ Solo ChannelEditor
This has not been tested nor will linuxsat-support be responsible for any use/misuse of the software.
Hi. I have changed the network cable, but still no connection to the lokal network, i can connect to the gemini server and download addons, but cant' confirm ip adress an gateway in settings
From memory I read something similar on the 500s and 600s years back, can´t remember nor find the posts now though...
As you say if you are able to recieve from internet , then can you send over the internet??
you also mention over your local network.. try this : put the internalIP of the 600 on your browser and see if it shows..
in usr/keys I imagine..
But I didn´t think there were any more valid keys for 27.5w..
if you do get it opening ,let us know please ..
check out this already made IPK
Most users are paying what is actually very good value for no-headaches not having to check to updates every 30 days ,etc...
and also possible to have multiple hosts synchronised at once....
I know,,, sounds like spam ... lol
At the end of the day the choice is yours but dont say you havent been advised...
EDIT: what do you mean your mates cline comes up scrambled??? that has nothing to do with your host...
As long as you have synchronised your no-ip host with your current external IP you should be good to go..
What You Should Know About The Heartbleed Security Bug
This is of interest for anyone using a non-windows system ( linux , etc)
QuoteDisplay MoreThis past Monday, a new vulnerability in OpenSSL version 1.0.1 called “Heartbleed” was announced. This vulnerability is of particular concern as it could permit a remote attacker to extract up to 64 KB of information from any remote server running OpenSSL software. Unfortunately, this data leakage could include login credentials, private keys and other sensitive information.
Based on the software’s release history, this vulnerability has existed for approximately two years. Further, the attack leaves behind no tell tale log signatures to identify that an attack has taken place or what sensitive information may have been leaked. In many ways, this vulnerability represents the perfect storm in Internet security, as OpenSSL is considered the most popular way to secure web browser sessions.
Heartbleed Bug
The best way to protect yourself is to reset the passwords on all of your Internet-based accounts that are accessed via a web browser. First, however, the company managing the server needs to take steps to correct the issue. If they have not yet properly corrected the problem on their end, logging into your account could actually put you at additional risk, as tools to exploit this flaw are now freely available.
Here’s how to check to see if it is safe to reset your password:
Public Disclosure
Check to see if the company has posted any information regarding their response to “Heartbleed” or “CVE-2014-0160”. This could be via a blog entry, news feed, or email distribution, varying depending on the organization. What you want to see is that either they were never vulnerable because they don’t use OpenSSL, or that they have both patched their server and cycled the private key used for SSL/TLS communications.
If the vendor was never vulnerable, there is no need to take additional steps. If the vendor has patched and cycled their private keys, you should immediately change your password. If the vendor has not publicly disclosed their response, you’ll need to do a bit of research.
Does The Site Run OpenSSL?
Most non-Windows systems run OpenSSL to secure web server traffic. So if you can identify the operating system used by the web server, you can get a pretty accurate read on whether the site had to deal with this vulnerability. Netcraft’s Site Report is a great tool for identifying the technology behind a given Web server. Again, if it’s a Windows based server, then you should be safe. If it’s a Linux or BSD based system, you should do additional testing.
Is The Site Patched?
It can be difficult to identify what version of OpenSSL is running on a remote system. Luckily, there are public websites that can quickly identify if a specific web server is vulnerable to Heartbleed. You can leverage one of these tools to test your remote vendor, but just ensure that you point it at the server you use to login to the service. This may not necessarily be the company’s main website.
Has The Site Deployed a New Private Key?
Because Heartbleed has been in the wild for so long, it’s impossible to tell what information nefarious actors have been able to retrieve. If they have been able to grab a copy of the server’s private key, they will be able to decrypt all traffic going to and from that server even after patches are applied. A complete fix requires the company managing the site to regenerate the server’s digital certificate.
This is where things get a bit complex as it’s possible to update a private key without creating a new digital certificate. So you can’t just look at the digital certificate and see if it has been issued since April 7th.
So your only option is to trust the vendor when they identify whether or not they have issued new private keys. Typically, if they have taken this additional security precaution, they are going to convey this to their customers. If they don’t mention it, chances are they did not take this additional step.
So what are the risks if the vendor has not cycled their private key? It can be argued that they are pretty minimal. Someone would have had to have attacked the server prior to the patch being installed, and included in the random information extracted from the server would need to be a copy of the private key. So from a risk perspective, this could be considered possible, but not likely.
At Dyn, we decided to err on the side of caution by cycling our private keys. This way, there is no question that we are safe moving forward.
If All Checks Are Good, Change That Password!
If your vendor passes all of the above checks, you can now safely login to the system and change your password. This should secure your account from this point forward.

Does anyone know the JTAG connections & pinouts for the Cloud I-Box, X-Mini Solo and X-Duo?
Sorry bud but there is no support for VU+ clones on this site..
hello and welcome Graham..
First of all I imagine you are referring to UK channels?? Most of us in Spain are missing the FTA UK/ Ireland channels..
My folks used to pay a monthly sub to one of these so called "providers"... which are known as "payservers" which we here do not condone
A bit of reading will show you what channels are available and not through your own efforts..
very interesting for expats .. HOW TO RECIEVE ASTRA DIGITAL TV...
No matter if you cardshare or have your own card you will not be able to recieve these channels...patched or not...
Andalucia channel check
for the moment filmon and expatTV is what some of us are using on enigma2 boxes and pc....
links probably have gone down.. are you using the most recent??
There are many other plugins that give English movies that the solo2 could benefit from..
is it running from a local card or a share??
which enigma image aer you using??
found this info for a spark image dated 24.07.2013
