    You haven´t stated which version of Tspanel you are trying to install or which IPK version...
    after FTPing it over to /tmp go to /setup/software management/install local extension
    and press OK and it should install..
    another way is through TELNET :

    could also be that IP has changed..... check connections..
    in the folder DCC you will see .ini , rightclick to edit with notepad and you will see your last password there..

    Aint no experts that I know of,, only users with more knowledge and experience than me !!!
    knowledge and experience are gained from trial and error !!
    Before you try out anything else, make sure you get a full working backup of your image to fall back on when it goes arseways...

    OK got it to work, tried rebooting box through menu, shutdown, reboot now, a few times during the process didnt work, changed SMARTCARD SID REJECT to lower case, went into menu shutdown etc and box froze up so had to pull power, on startup it worked so dont know if it was changing to lower case that did it or pulling power for hard reboot but it now works..

    If you want to reject 5 sids..
    its the same for allowing sids...
    Another possibility is to simply use

    then it will automatically assign the sids that are subscribed...

    As long as the skin is compatible with the image then there should be no problem to have several skins,,
    some skins ,although compatible , sometimes need to be tweaked/adjusted a little to fit correctly..
    another thing to take into account is compatibility with some plugins,
    you will know right away if the plugin is compatible with the skin..

    you can only recieve audio in English if it was recorded/compiled in English for English speakers..
    There´s no way around this at the moment...
    if that makes sense to you....

    Maybe its the misuse of the term crashed,,, does the duo restart?
    is it stuck at any given point of the start up?
    If you have a backup then simply copy it to your usb stick and reflash the box with the backup image..
    If it is just your settings then as mentioned install the image of your choice, 2.0.2 rev A
    then enter menu and find restore settings..

    the solo2 can get 7 day epg ,
    can use an infinite amount of thrid party plugins,apart from image feeds, more than you will have time to play with...
    vix seems to be a popular image for her indoors... although this is always a personal choice,,

    As for external USB or HDD ..
    BH media player works quite well but as muso already pointed out ,,
    not all files can be read yet.....but can be converted..
